Chinese Ninja Warrior isn't a mistake, it's an Easter egg. There's a song made during the 3D era of Mortal Kombat, called Subzero Theme, and it's said throughout multiple times in the song. While it's still a mistake from the song, it's a fun Easter egg to those who were fans during the 3D era of MK
That song wasn't made during the 3D era, it was from an album released in 1994 based on the very first game. It's where Techno Syndrome, the famous Mortal Kombat theme song used in the 1995 movie and known by pretty much everyone, comes from. They made theme songs for all the other MK1 characters alongside Sub-Zero, except Shang Tsung for some reason. Also, even though I get it's an Easter Egg, it's still dumb to put it down because it's a repeated thing in the franchise itself that pretty much all of the Lin Kuei, especially both Sub-Zeros, vehemently reject being called ninjas.
@@saorlathesurly oh yeah I forgot that Sub Zero openly states he not a Ninja, kind of implying he offended by the term.... Which makes sense given the whole War between them & actually ninjas
Origins of ninja come from China in fact if you look into gaijin goombas which Ninja on scorpion surprisingly he would show that yes Chinese Ninja warrior is accurate
@@tempestflare4339 Normally Gaijin Goomba is pretty accurate with cultural concepts, but he definitely isn't an expert with Chinese stuff. It'd be more accurate to say that China had warriors that looked, fought, and acted like ninja and there were plenty of similarities between the two categories. But ninja are still Japanese, especially since it is a Japanese word. The closest thing in Chinese would be a branch of "wuxia" (pronounced oo-sha) assassin like the cike (pronounced tse-kuh) that specialized in secretive infiltration and assassination missions, among many other variations. But as a Chinese person, I feel like wuxia these days has come to mean just about any kind of "warrior" fighting for "good" that you can think of. It literally translates to "kung fu hero", where kung fu means any kind of combat ability, not just martial arts.
Didn't bring up the error for Ben vs Hal that I talk about literally every chance I get, which has given me this chance to talk about said error: The downside they mention about overusing the Omnitrix scarring the user's DNA, which even leads into a visual gag with weird chimera Boomstick, simply does not exist. That's a weird mish mash of three different things. Kevin turning into a chimera monster from trying to absorb powers directly from the omnitrix, Kevin getting "permanently" disfigured after trying to hack the omnitrix and getting caught in a vague DNA blast, and the general downside of detransforming from using the omnitrix too much in Alien Force until Omniverse, which doesn't apply to this battle because they give Ben master control.
And the fact that the omnitrix has a failsafe that doesnt let him die. And the lack of the sotobro effect. Saying that was the only mistake is simply incorrect
@@sadrali56 " the omnitrix has a failsafe that doesnt let him die" it does have that, it was stated at the very last episode of Omniverse. It's how he survived the Big Bang going off in his face.
@@joshuadunn4710 >Goku would beat Saitama in base form Yes >Goku would slaughter superman No. And this is coming from a DBS fan. >Ben would beat green lantern No.
Some more I can remeber off the top of my head: -They use fanart to say Spider-man tried to join the Justice League and was rejected by Batman -They say Babidi is Bibidi's clone and him being his son is just a mistranslation, but that was a retcon, in the original manga Babidi calls Bibidi "papa", Toriyama would later say in an interview that they're clones.
Goro canonically being listed as the reigning champion for 500 years is actually a big goof on Midway/Netherrealm themselves. The Mortal Kombat tournament is held every 50 years, and he won 9 Mortal Kombats in a row, so his reign's actually been 450 years. I guess they for some reason rounded it up to 500, but it just doesn't really make sense. Not an issue for Death Battle, mind, more an issue with what's claimed in the source material itself (never mind that, in MKX, Cassie says it was 600 years for...some reason).
The 10th Mortal Kombat was the one where he lost, but by the time that one rolled around, he was still the returning champion and it had been 500 years
I think the reason so many people think DIO and Jotaro where flying during the fight is because the scenes don't translate that well from manga to anime. In the manga there is no movement in the panels, so you can suspend your disbelief that they're not in the air for all that long, but in the anime the animators needed to hold them in the air for long enough for the voice actors to say their lines, so it looks like they're just floating.
You forgot that in Ben Vs Hal Wiz said that the Omnitrix permanently disfigures a persons DNA after too much use which, too my knowledge, is incorrect. Ben 10,000 literally used the omnitrix a ton of times without turning back to human once.
@@patrickadetola4153 Where? Not to mention (again) Ben 10,000 from the original show stayed in his alien forms without changing back for who knows how long and was perfectly fine when he changed back to human. The closest thing ever said in the show was Azmuth saying overusing any specific DNA sample would hinder the ability to control other forms.
@@captainbirch2.079 You mean when Kevin absorbed the Omnitrix? Yeah, that's not a problem with the Omnitrix, that was a problem with Kevin as he didn't know how to control his own power.
Another mistake: In Batman vs Iron Man, they say that the celestial busting Godkiller is an earlier version of the virtual Godbuster. This is blatantly false, the two suits aren't even related.
Another 3 mistakes: In Balrog Vs TJ combo, they say TJ held the champion title for 20 years AFTER getting the cyborg enhancements, but he actually did that BEFORE getting the enhancements. He approached Ultratech so that he could become champion again. In Wolverine Vs Raiden, they refer to Raiden’s blade mode as Zandatsu. Zandatsu is the process of taking the electrolytes out of enemy cyborgs, not the power itself. In Sabrewulf Vs Jon Talbain, they say that Sabrewulf remained as a feral animal over time. His whole story in KI is him trying to tame the curse and use it properly.
Mistake: Donkey Kong doesn't lose his strength if he gets a haircut. It was a curse chanted during the haircut that left him powerless and not the haircut itself. It was literally the first episode of the Donkey Kong cartoon how did they actually mess that up lol
They would've had to actually watch it. They kept trying to have Boomstick watch it but he kept blocking it mentally. Also the fact you know that concerns me.
To be fair. That show is god awful and they probably couldn't handle more than like the first episode and blocked the rest of it out of their memory except for the hair cut
A couple other mistakes: • In Mario VS Sonic 2, they got Sonic's speed completely wrong (especially when they contradict themselves almost immediately afterwards). They claim that Sonic isn't FTL without additional equipment, but then use the speedometer from Sonic Unleashed to prove their point... when that same mechanic clocks the Light Speed Dash 9 times lower than what they claim Sonic's maximum speed is. By their own logic, Sonic is in fact 9 times FTL. • In Ben Tennyson VS Green Lantern, they claim that overuse of the Omnitrix could disfigure its wearer's DNA. In the actual series, this isn't the case whatsoever, as Ben (as of Omniverse) can use the Omnitrix as much as he wants with no real consequence.
On top of that Ben in Omniverse has the lifelock feature which allows him to stay as an alien for a long time without timing out. Unless they're referring to the reboot and even that's wrong because Ben just couldn't change back to normal and kept cycling through forms.
Slightly off topic, but that Sonic speed error reminds me of that Game Theory video where he said Sonic isn’t faster than sound. I think he used the exact same speed meter too
they say the omnitrix can tell time but in season 1 of alien force, the episode called "the gauntlet" ben says "sorry, doesn't tell time"... im very nitpicky
@@Bleeperblopper497 also my knowledge of one show from an episode before you said that you game up on the show (alien force season 1 episode 9 which is before ultimate alien) and the fact i enjoyed it means i clearly dont do other things and don't watch other shows? fuck, sorry gravity falls, harley quinn, gotham, peacemaker, etc... guess you dont count
Shout out to Spider-Man joining the Justice League being fan art (would be cool if it was a real comic but it's just a fan-made cover). Guessing they just pulled it from Google and thought it was real but couldn't find the actual issue (since it doesn't exist).
I feel like the 'Yang being tired' thing was just DB trying to very generously explain the inconsistent writing of volumes 1 and 2. Monty Oum's writing style followed the ideas 'rule of cool' and 'never stop moving forward,' which basically combine into one giant excuse to not take the lore seriously and not waste any time on quality control.
A mistake in Chun-Li VS Mai Shiranui is that they say that Mai has to be rescued by Andy a lot even though he's only had to save her twice and those are in the non-canon Fatal Fury OVAs and even then, the second time Andy tried to save her and failed before the person who kidnapped Mai just left her there. Also, they call Team Fatal Fury "Andy's award-winning team" despite it A: Not being Andy's Team because he wasn't in said team in either KOF 2003 or XI and B: Team FF has never won a KOF tournament.
Correct in canon Terry is and has been the captain of Team Fatal Fury while Mai in the KOF canon is usually associated with Team Women Fighters. Also another KOF canon mistake was them saying Geese fought Verse no he didn't in the canon of KOFXIV it was the new lead hero Shun'rei who fought and beat Verse not Geese.
In Ken VS Terry they said that Geese's KOF tournament was "worldwide" even though it was entirely based in South Town and they also said that the fight between Terry and Geese had spectators even though it was done almost entirely in private which is true in every source material.
You know it's fine to not enjoy DeathBattle. Though I really hate how hostile the fandom is to criticism. And I don't mean petty or insignificant "gripes" like in this video I mean actual criticism. It's quite annoying. That being said, great video.
Okay. In Frank vs Leon they said that the Mech Armour is made of Slushy Machines and Fans. When in all reality it's a suit of mech armour that can have Fans and Slushy Machines added to it to it in order to make upgrade it to Fire the Ice tornados
Man, I can't believe Nemesis, a guy with little knowledge on Star VS, missed the mistake regarding Star's "great whatever grandmother" this is an outrage.
Great video. Here are a few more Death Battle mistakes: -They said in both Goku vs Superman episodes that "Superman lost to Doomsday" and "Goku beat Vegeta with help". Superman vs Doomsday was a stalemate (and a technical victory for Superman) and Goku straight up lost to Vegeta. -In Hulk vs Broly they stated that Broly had better control of his powers than the Hulk. Broly's whole thing is that he has no control over his power (as of now) and he can very easily lose control and start fighting like a beast. -In Luigi vs Tails, they state that Luigi "struggled" to lift a giant vegetable, even tho Luigi only struggled to take out the vegetable from the ground for like 0.5 seconds and he was lifting the vegetable itself just fine (plus, the whole sequence was just a dream to begin with). Also, Tails did struggle a bit to lift those 1000 kilos he lifted. -In Danny vs Jake, they stated that Danny took Dragon Lady's attacks (I forgot her name) like a champ, even tho the footage they used shows him using his shields to block her attacks and him getting pretty beaten up from them. -In Ryu vs Jin, they stated that the cyborg feat they brought up was non-canon and, according to Leopold the Brave, that is not the case. It's debatable if this should count, because a) I'm not into Tekken, so I can't confirm if that is accurate or not and b) Death Battle technically corrected this in Heihachi vs Geese. -Amongst Godzilla's weaknesses, there were listed "man-made electricity, but not natural electricity" and "his dorsal plates as a weak spot". I'm a huge Godzilla fan and I don't recall any media where that was the case. If I'm wrong, let me know. -In Donkey Kong vs Knuckles, they described Knuckles as dump. Look, Knuckles is not the smartest smartie in town, but him being an idiot was only a thing in Sonic: Boom. -In Blake vs Mikasa, they stated that the flying Grimm from Volume 1 was 900 meters long. Um, what? -In Hulk vs Doomsday, they stated that "FTL speeds are a rarity in the Marvel universe". Yeah, I don't need to explain that one. -In Dragonzord vs Mechagodzilla, Akane Yashiro was described as a "stereotypical anime protagonist who got some of her teammates killed and everyone hates her". Aside from the fact that this was downright disrespectful to one of the combatants of the episode (and to one of my personal favourite characters they've introduced in the show), the description they gave to generic anime protagonists is just wrong. Generic anime protagonists are either revenge-obsessed edgelords or all-the-time-smiling goodie-two-shoes cinammon rolls. Also, no, Kiryu is not the most powerful version of MechaG (sadly). Also also, Kiryu is not a dump name. (Btw, I still love Dragonzord vs Mechagodzilla.) -OK, this one is more debatable, but in Beerus vs Galaxia, they stated that Beerus takes his job as God of Destruction very seriously. Considering that Beerus prefers napping and eating than doing his job as a God of Destruction and he also has a bad habit of blowing up planets for petty reasons, let's just say that him taking his job seriously is up for debate. -Saying that Korra vs Storm was not straightforward. -Saying that Batgirl vs Spider-Gwen was close.
Something this video concept made me think about is what would be considered "mistakes" as opposed to "differences in interpretation", specifically in games for what might be considered balancing mechanics as opposed to canonical feats. For example, in "Ratchet & Clank vs. Jak & Daxter", while they do mention that Dark Jak is completely physically invulnerable, they never mention that by collecting enough Precursor Orbs Jak gains unlimited access to his dark and light forms, which implies a completely one sided stomp in Jak's favor. So did they purposefully omit that tidbit for the sake of making the fight more balanced or do they just not consider it canonical? Another perfect example is in "Sora vs. Pit" when they explicitly state that Sora can't use his Drive Forms without Donald and Goofy. However, when Sora is first granted his new clothes by the 3 good fairies he almost immediately transforms into his Valor Form with Goofy still standing right behind him. Goofy is even the one to draw attention to the fact that Sora now has a second Keyblade. So I don't think there's any doubt that needing to sacrifice your teammates to use Drive Forms in KH2 is purely a gameplay balancing mechanic and nothing more. I think it's pretty obvious that the DB team try to take liberties where they can with some of the smaller aspects of certain characters to try to make fights more competitive. After all, a one sided stomp doesn't make for an interesting match up.
I have some insight on this! So prior to KI 2013, Riptor was considered genderless during the original timeline and wasn't specified by any gender; though for KI 2013 Riptor being female was done in part to referencing Jurassic Park!
Here's a mistake i noticed on my very first viewing of Luigi vs Tails (yes, back when the episode first came out in 2014): they got Tails' age wrong. They claim Tails is 11 years old despite the fact that he's canonically always been an 8 year old.
@@captaincommando5072 It's still inconsistent with every other Sonic episode (excluding Flash vs Sonic for obvious reasons) where the characters are listed by their canon ages instead of their Archie ages.
@@robmacher3253 Because they stopped using Archie stuff starting with Knuckles vs Donkey Kong. -They used the comics again in Ramona Flowers vs Amy Rose but shhhh, ignore that-
@@rodridante Still not a good excuse to only use the Archie age for a character in one episode with composites. I checked Mario vs Sonic (2011) again to make sure and he's said to be 16 in that episode (which he actually was pre-Adventure but Adventure swapped his age with Knuckles, tho they might have mistaken his age because Generations took place on his birthday), Knuckles and Amy were also composited and they stuck with their canon ages for both. Can't say much for the others because they either have no confirmed canon age (Eggman and Metal) or are pretty much the same age in both continuities (Shadow).
Not inherently a mistake, but Obi-Wan VS Kakashi has an obsession with using the Japanese name order for Kakashi, Minato and Sakumo, something that no other Naruto episode does. Confusing to all parties and glad it was a one-time thing. Shadow VS Ryuko's teaser decides to not use the correct diacritic mark, the Macron, where we get the ū in Ryūko. Instead we're shown something closer to "Ryüko", which is just incorrect. Likely a font problem considering diacritic marks aren't universally present on every font.
I can think of some mistakes Death Battle has made. In Frank West vs Leon Kennedy they make the bullshit claim that Frank never slept once during the Willemette Outbreak. This is false however for a number of reasons. For one, there are at least two save points where upon activating them, Frank will lay down, likely to take a nap. There are also a few cutscenes of him chilling in the safehouse so why would he not sleep if he's not doing anything else and there are multiple instances where Frank can be knocked unconscious meaning there are moments where he is not awake during this outbreak. Besides all this...where did it even say he never slept? Just because we never see him sleep doesn't mean he didn't sleep. That'd be like saying Jak and Daxter never sleep because we never see them sleep in Jak 2 throughout the game. Would kill the games pacing if we had to watch the main character sleep all the time. Such a weird head canon treated as canon. In Batman vs Captain America, they bring up a moment in the Avengers vs Justice League comic where after a short spar, Batman says Captain America could beat him and use this to argue "He said could, not would". However, reading through that entire series would actually prove that Cap would, or at least the Cap present in that story. Throughout the comic, Cap is routinely surprising and impressing Batman, even to the point where when its time for both teams to fight as won, he is one of the many who elect Cap to lead both teams. During the final battle, Cap stays behind, using Martian Manhunter's telepathy to mentally give commands to the rest of the heroes while he stays in the ship to co-ordinate. During this, a DC villain called Prometheus ambushes him. Prometheus has armor that lets him perfectly replicate the fighting skill of any person he wants and he specifically uses the fighting skill of Batman to use against Captain America, assuming this would be all he needs. The next time we see this fight, Captain America is kicking his ass. So using Avengers vs Justice League as a debunk is stupid because the comic actually shows Captain America beating someone with Batman's fighting skill, making it seem like he WOULD win, not simply COULD. I have bitched about this a lot already but it still frustrates me. In Link vs Could 2, they make the claim that most Links are basically the same guy. This is not true as each Link is their own individual person, not simply the same person being reborn. Twilight Princess and Wind Waker prove this as in Twilight Princess, the Hero of Time (as the Hero's Shade) meets and trains the Hero of Twilight. If they were the same person, how do two Links co-exist like in Twilight Princess without time travel? In Wind Waker, its explained that the Hero of Winds has no connection to the Hero of Time and considering the Hero of Time no longer exists in this timeline, we can easily assume there is no longer a reincarnation cycle for it so the Hero of Winds isn't a reincarnation and just happens to be a kid also named Link which is possible considering his island dresses up boys as the Hero of Time so someone would name their kid after the Hero of Time. Another thing Twilight Princess proves is that skills don't pass between each Link as the Hero of Time has to manually teach his skills to the Hero of Twilight. The Hero of Twilight didn't know these skills by instinct, he had to be taught, proving that each Link wouldn't have the same skills as the previous ones. In DIO vs Alucard, they scale DIO's regeneration to Straizo who's body was blown to pieces and he reformed. This isn't an accurate scaling because part 3 DIO does not have that level of healing due to Johnathan's body rejecting him. Even when he gets Joseph's blood and is stronger, when half his body is destroyed by Jotaro at the end of Part 3, he doesn't instantly regenerate and in fact stays in that state long enough for Jotaro to give Joseph back his blood and put DIO's body out in the sun to fully be destroyed. If he had the same amount of regen as Straizo, how come he didn't just heal from that last attack? Also he shouldn't be able to use his other vampire abilities with Johnathan's body because he lacks the insane regen of normal Jojo vampires because his body wouldn't recover quickly from him using shooting out fluids from his eyes or freezing parts of his body to freeze others. If he could still use these, you'd think he'd just snipe Jotaro with Space Ripper Stingy Eyes instead of using knives or forcing a cop to shoot him. They also claim DIO is 15x the speed of light when Jotaro, who has a similar Stand as him, had trouble with Silver Chariot who couldn't keep up with a Stand made of light. They also put Jotaro at less than the speed of light so either Jotaro's speed is wrong or DIOs. In Bowser vs Ganondorf, they portray Ganon cursing someone as him literally draining the life out of him when this has never been the case. The curses he gives The Great Deku Tree and Lord Jabu Jabu are parasites that slowly kill him. If he tried this on Bowser, he'd have to create a parasite to slowly kill him from the inside and this would be outside help so they completely misrepresent how he cursed things in Ocarina of Time. In Hulk vs Doomsday, one of the deaths they attribute to Doomsday is being ripped in half. To my knowledge however, this is New 52 Doomsday, not the original so being ripped in half should still be a viable method to kill pre-New 52 Doomsday. In Thor vs Wonder Woman, they keep comparing Thor's speed to Quicksilver even though he's fought much faster foes. They also misinterpret Mjolnir going across the galaxy feat as they only calculating it going from Thor to the edge of the galaxy and not going from Thor to the edge and then back, so that feat should be doubled if I am recalling correctly. In Sora vs Pit, they just assume the light beam Sora shoots in the Nightmare Before Christmas world hit the moon when we never actually see this occur as it just shoots up in the sky and splits apart (and they discounted a Scout feat because they didn't see it occur even though it still did). They also have it hurt Pit when in Chain of Memories, Zexion, disguised as Sora, uses this attack on Riku and explains that it shouldn't hurt a denizen of light implying that it would only hurt dark opponents which wouldn't be Pit. In Miles vs Static they bring up Earth 1610, the Ultimate Universe but instead bring up things from the Spider-Verse movie universe instead. The name for the universe movie Miles is in is Earth TRN700. In Mickey vs Yoda, they say Zeus moved 614 stars but this is inaccurate because stars in Kingdom Hearts are different worlds. This is proven in Kingdom Hearts 1 where after Destiny Island is destroyed, Donald and Goofy watch as a star blinks away. So in actuality, Zeus would be moving 614 planets, not stars. These are most of the mistakes I can think of. There were others but you already listed some I had.
Actually, Death Battle did acknowledge that the Spiderverse durability feat they brought up is non-canon to the Ultimate Universe and they included it because Miles had better durability feats in the comics, therefore he could survive something like that.
@@vaggos2003 I have no clue what you're talking about. I'm talking about the start of his analysis where they bring up the Ultimate Universe and just list differences in the movie. What durability feat are you talking about
@@nathanielus5296 It really is. From what I have seen, originally it was suppose to take place in the pages of the ongoing Justice League and Avengers books before they just made it its own mini-series. Not only that, at least in the DC Universe it had ramifications like the Crime Syndicate's universe being destroyed and then reformed and Krona was still stuck in the Cosmic Egg so it was actually canon to DC. For Marvel, I don't think they ever acknowledged it though I remember a guide book where they mentioned Monica Rambeau stealing energy from Kyle Rayner. So in DC and Marvel canon, Captain America has shown himself to be the better fighter and lead but according to Death Battle, he's just a boxer.
I feel like for Riptor Outdated information shouldn't count as a mistake That's usually what paleontology channels do when they review old dinosaur documentaries
Technically it wasn't all due to it being "outdated" tho. At no point was there fossil evidence of Velociraptor hunting in packs, it was just inferred due to its close relative Deinonychus having some debatable evidence to suggest it did (also Jurassic Park hype). The hunting method of pinning down its prey, however, was suggested in 2011, the same year that episode was in production, so they get a pass on that one.
I don't care what anyone says. This is the kind of petty BS that only someone who genuinely loves a show would go in and do. Also I sense a flurry of Death Battle wiki edits in the near future
While I don't believe Crona is ever referred to as Gorgon, it is confirmed that they are the child of Medusa Gorgon. So, it is very likely true, even if it is unconfirmed. Also In Starscream vs Rainbow Dash they give Starscream the speed of Mach 2.8, which while accurate to the toy Bio, Starscream's speed feats within both the G1 cartoon & comics highly surpass that. BTW out of curiosity what is wrong with the Miles vs Static Shock thumbnail. Does it use stolen fanart or something?
The thing with the Miles vs Static TN is how horribly the renders match each other, both in terms of what artstyle they're in with Miles being a 3D model while Static is a 2D render, as well as their positions not matching with Static being way further back
Also, using Seismic Toss as a strength measurement is ridiculous, as you'd have to apply that strength stat to literally every pokemon who's capable of using that move.
I am more concerned about how it is described as a "Gravity fed throw" in the games, meaning either the timeframe of the fall isn't literal and is only Wall level, or that Pokémon's Earth has some absurd gravity.
I love thinking there was going to be a lot of things for Ben10 v GL, but there’s also this whole section for Blazblue and how it feels like they got just about every aspect of that wrong.
Actually saying there's only one mistake in the Ben 10 versus Green lantern death battle is wrong. While they're talking about way big's with the dagon, they showed the clip of him fighting malware. They said that if the Omnitrix doesn't cool down it will horribly misfigerhim. Also they said that Kal Rainer could survive a big bang, when in actuality is an explosion worth millions of galaxies. And they said that Ben's favorite color is green, when I don't think Ben's favorite color ever been confirmed.
The actual mistake you didn't bring up that I knew from the start was. When they bring up Alucard's omnipresence, they stated that it was unlikely that was case he can control it even though both the creator and the manga never making it clear weather Alucard can control the powers or not. (Answer: Only up into interpretation.) So stating that "the creator" didn't intended it, is heavily disingenuous since they didn't show the proof of this. Don't interpret this as me being angry that Alucard lost, I am simply clearing up misinformation that can be disproven.
I dunno if anyones ever gonna bring it up but them calling Pokemon slaves is such an extreme fucking pet peeve they double down on. Trainers in the manga regularly get their ass kicked ALONGSIDE their monsters.
@@ArcueidBrunestudTypeVampire Tai is like in his 20s and would still beat up Red and Ash with his more hands on experiences plus Ash's strength feats are all PIS cause in Sun and Moon he couldn't even lift up a log
7:23 Well....... yes and no. Tony's origin in the comics WAS that he was captured in Vietnam, but because of how Marvel's timeline works as a sliding scale (basically, everything in the past keeps moving forward to correspond with recent modern day history) it's almost certain that Tony's origin story now takes place in Afghanistan since for his origin to still be during the Vietnam conflict, he'd be like 80 by today's comics. The only exceptions to this effect are very specific things like Cap fighting in WW2 because they just extend how long he was frozen, and Magneto being a Holocaust survivor because there's no other real life event since the Holocaust that can stand in for that kind of 'dark as hell backstory' unless they make one up which would be a hell of a gamble.
You forgot the most obvious mistake, and it is that “Death” isn’t an adjective, so the show should be called something like “Deathly Battle” or “Battle to the Death”.

Crona's name is technically Crona Gorgon even if it wasn't confirmed. They're either Medusa's biological or adopted (or kidnapped) child, either way they would inherit her surname.
Goku vs. Superman 2 shows footage from Goku vs Superman. Then Nemesis added Goku's speed section from the latter because he forgot to point that error before.
the big mistake in ben 10 vs green lantern is the that they claim if ben keep turning alien to alien it will damage his dna but that is not true if he does that he will destroy the entire universe. i dont know where that got the damage his dna from.
Well they said in Q&A the black hole thing is still him being teleported and a feat that doesn't have anything else supporting it and Sonic getting beaten up by Eggmans Egg Beater is another anti feat that disproves the black hole, sonic has still been put down by far less
When goku vs superman I first came out, people tried to use the SSJ2 speed mistake to accuse them of rigging the stats for him to lose lol. If you do the math you can see it was just a typo and that their final speed was consistent to their logic.
Alucard (Alucard vs Dio) does not use any of his other soul's abilities like Valetine and Alhambra which would've destroyed Dio and giving him his vampire powers and his Stand, they should've just gave Alucard his powers and Schordinger as Dio can't have his powers and Stand at the same time
Actually there's no proof or evidence to suggest he cant use both the stand and vampire powers. Yeah his body was rejecting him but by the end of that fight he had full control over it. He didn't use the laser eyes not because he couldn't but because he didnt want/care to. If he couldn't use vampire powers alongside a stand we wouldnt have seen him controlling his hair like whips and making fleshbuds like when he met Avdol. So him not being able to have both is unconfirmed at worst and fanon at best. And they explained like 3 times that Alucard cant have his schrondinger powers at the same time because that'd kill him. And said that even if they did factor it, Dio could still win.
@@ArcueidBrunestudTypeVampirewhich begs the question why didn't they use that death in the death battle instead of some trash way that Alucard dies, in hellsing ultimate Alucard wanted someone to kill him and that someone would have to be a human as when Alucard stated "only a human can destroy a monster. Only a human could dare hope to." So wouldn't he have smiled instead of doing that stupid face
Natsu VS Ace: They forgot factor in how Natsu is able to physically interact with fire, so logia powers would only make Ace more vulnerable since Natsu could basically eat Ace. Just look at the fight with the Atlas Flame Dragon.
2 notes regarding the Mechagodzilla vs Dragonzord bit: - When you talk about the thing with Gorosaurus's height, there are distinctly 2 different Gorosaurus with different heights. The one in Destroy All Monsters IS 50 meters but the first one that appears in King Kong Escapes is actually 20 meters (that's because the King Kong in that film is smaller than the Kong who fought Godzilla). There are some sources that say he's 35 meters in that film but that adheres to "total length" while we have sources for the "total height" being 20. - In the actual Death Battle, halfway through we get Godzilla's spirit taking over Kiryu's body and going on to win the entire battle against the Dragonzord. This WOULDN'T HAPPEN, since the only times this has happened is when battling Godzilla. The first film even directly explains that the first time it happens is due to hearing Godzilla's roar (And even though they take measures to prevent this, it happens again in Tokyo SOS out of nowhere but that movie is poorly written anyway). So, since the Dragonzord neither looks anything like Godzilla nor sounds anything like Godzilla, there's no reason for Godzilla's spirit to ever have awakened.
I find it funny that the Dragonzord’s weight is less than 200 tons, yet Red Ranger’s strength is around 12,000 tons. The Power Rangers could just chuck their zords at people with how big the weight gap is.
In Raven vs Twilight they say that Celestia and Luna use a special kind of magic to move the sun and moon; this is simply untrue, the sisters magic is just that powerful.
Can you do community poll type things? You could ask things like what Death Battle was great but had the worst ending. There is a channel called Matthew DiLeva that does that and I find it really fun but I don't even watch the guy. I think it would be a great way to interact with your audience, and personally I would enjoy seeing it from a channel I know I have time to interact with.
While you said you wouldn’t use animation mistakes, in Cable vs Booster Gold, after Cable supposedly mind controls him and fires his laser, the laser mystically hits thin air. I think Booster was supposed to be where the laser connects, but instead of it being really impactful like “Cable is about to finish the fight but, what’s this? Booster still has his shield up!?”, it’s more like “Wow, Cable really sucks at aiming.” or “Booster Gold suddenly gains the power to turn invisible.” and it happens so fast you’re just kinda left confused why Booster starts monologuing after getting hit by nothing.
You forgot some few, like they saying zoro strongest attack was the 1080 pound phoenix, when in actuality his strongest attack was the ichidai sanzen daisensekai atleast at that time
Wait nemesis you're chinese? I thought you are australian for some reason Also in ben vs hal the omnitrix does not mess up the users dna , that is also a mistake the only other mistake
Also to add on , you state that mistakes on the thumbnail count So by your logic the thumbnail of ben vs hal is wrong since the omnitrix is on ben's right hand , when its supposed to be on his left
idk if it's brought up in the video or not, but a funny goof i noticed when the episodes first came out is that the red ranger's durability is listed as HIGHER than the dragonzord's durability
Another sizeable issue with the Optimus vs Gundam is that Optimus would only be able knee high to the Gundam, rather hard to ignore how much they upscaled him for that fight. In Kirby vs Buu they claim the Megaton Punch minigame shows Kirby can break a planet, but ignore the official max power rating of that minigame which is 201 megatons (Meanwhile breaking the moon would take 30,000,000,000,000 megatons of force which is a bit of a gap.
A mistake about Balrog vs TJ combo: TJ doesn't rip the implants out of his arms in the current timeline (unless I'm missing something), because Ultratech handles that themselves. Source: TJ's story mode.
1:46 this one is sorta understandable because back then people still got the deinychus and velociraptor mixed up, it wasn’t until the internet really grew when people learned
0:50 "Boba Fett did not hold his own against Darth Vader, he lost terribly." So did Hal Jordan against Captain Atom when they brought it up on the podcast. But if your not counting the podcast, that's okay: 1:14 "Leonardo did not kill the devil, he killed an alien." So did Hal Jordan when they said "He's even got the Cahonas to arrest God." He arrested a large alien in a spaceship called the Shepard stealing planets with alien shrinking technology. 14:54 "50 Megaton bomb, when it's actually a 10 megaton bomb" Just like the U-Bomb, was stated to compress and destroy the universe but when Hal Jordan DISARMED it it went off with the force of a supernova, not Universal. To be fair, Hal in the next issue found a micro universe inside his ring slowly dying, so take that for what you will. I could rattle on, but I'm not going to, Hal of course has better Universal feats, I still love DB despite these flaws and I'll gladly get fucked for saying all of this, but respectfully "That is the only mistake in the episode, shush" Is just wrong. Also Batman Vs. Black Panther has a misspell: "Bladed Gauntlet" when it's Bladed Gauntlets, it's plural, but it's fine.
@@vaggos2003 Really? I didn't pick up on that? I thought he was just tired of people ranting about it? Understandable granted, but still a little misleading.
@@lopresti101 I feel it was meant to be both. Nemesis was tired of people ranting about that episode so he made a joke to clarify that he did not want people to keep ranting about that episode.
To be fair, Hal was able to match Atom for a while and Atom was surprised by Hal's power but he had also gone without sleep for 2 days and was low on charge to his ring. I'm admittedly reaching here but I always thought the "got the cohonas to arrest God" was more of a joke/ testament of Hal's will rather than a legitimate feat but I've also seen people take it as DB being literal with "Hal can arrest God" so I don't know. Also supernova output was only something that Adam Strange was able to record before Hal and the U-bomb disappeared. The guardians even stated that the bomb would destroy the universe by pulling it onto the area of quark. So Strange's reading was not its full output.
From Gen IV on, Charizard does have dragon claw in its level up learnset. However, you need a move reminder to get it. So I can see why they goofed. It's grey area for sure.

Yes but pretty sure the backing music not canonical to plot. Since Ninja were Japanese.
Didn't bring up the error for Ben vs Hal that I talk about literally every chance I get, which has given me this chance to talk about said error:
The downside they mention about overusing the Omnitrix scarring the user's DNA, which even leads into a visual gag with weird chimera Boomstick, simply does not exist.
Ben 10 Vs Green Lantern could have own episode/mini series breaking down errors. Infact RUclips Ink Tank kind of did.

Some more I can remeber off the top of my head:
-They use fanart to say Spider-man tried to join the Justice League and was rejected by Batman
-They say Babidi is Bibidi's clone and him being his son is just a mistranslation, but that was a retcon, in the original manga Babidi calls Bibidi "papa", Toriyama would later say in an interview that they're clones.
Is that true for the first one? If so that is just beyond embarrassing that they made the fanart mistake twice.
@@MysteriousTomJenkins to be fair, this was season 1
Goro canonically being listed as the reigning champion for 500 years is actually a big goof on Midway/Netherrealm themselves. The Mortal Kombat tournament is held every 50 years, and he won 9 Mortal Kombats in a row, so his reign's actually been 450 years. I guess they for some reason rounded it up to 500, but it just doesn't really make sense. Not an issue for Death Battle, mind, more an issue with what's claimed in the source material itself (never mind that, in MKX, Cassie says it was 600 years for...some reason).

@@captainbirch2.079 You mean when Kevin absorbed the Omnitrix? Yeah, that's not a problem with the Omnitrix, that was a problem with Kevin as he didn't know how to control his own power.
Another mistake:
In Batman vs Iron Man, they say that the celestial busting Godkiller is an earlier version of the virtual Godbuster. This is blatantly false, the two suits aren't even related.
Another 3 mistakes:
In Balrog Vs TJ combo, they say TJ held the champion title for 20 years AFTER getting the cyborg enhancements, but he actually did that BEFORE getting the enhancements.

Also the fact you know that concerns me.
To be fair. That show is god awful and they probably couldn't handle more than like the first episode and blocked the rest of it out of their memory except for the hair cut
A couple other mistakes:
• In Mario VS Sonic 2, they got Sonic's speed completely wrong (especially when they contradict themselves almost immediately afterwards).

Oh, Nemesis, I can't believe you didn't read "Fucking Raven Comics #4768" where Trigon is offhandedly claimed to be a God of this cult.
I’m impressed that you were able to find all these mistakes, especially the minor spelling errors. Can’t wait for your next video.
Great video. Here are a few more Death Battle mistakes:
-They said in both Goku vs Superman episodes that "Superman lost to Doomsday" and "Goku beat Vegeta with help".
(Btw, I still love Dragonzord vs Mechagodzilla.)
-OK, this one is more debatable, but in Beerus vs Galaxia, they stated that Beerus takes his job as God of Destruction very seriously.
I think Riptor is canonically female only in KI 2013, so yeah, that wouldn't be a mistake in this case
I have some insight on this! So prior to KI 2013, Riptor was considered genderless during the original timeline and wasn't specified by any gender; though for KI 2013 Riptor being female was done in part to referencing Jurassic Park!
Ben vs hal also has the mistake of having teen bens voice on young ben so get rekt (sprite limitations do be painful)

Here's a mistake i noticed on my very first viewing of Luigi vs Tails (yes, back when the episode first came out in 2014): they got Tails' age wrong. They claim Tails is 11 years old despite the fact that he's canonically always been an 8 year old.
Archie Comics
@@captaincommando5072 It's still inconsistent with every other Sonic episode (excluding Flash vs Sonic for obvious reasons) where the characters are listed by their canon ages instead of their Archie ages.

@@robmacher3253 But that's just being inconsistent, not wrong.
What durability feat are you talking about
The fun thing is that this Avengers/JLA crossover is actually canon
"Well we... I don't make mistakes."

Mistake: Ganondorf's characterization being the smash version.
I feel like for Riptor
Outdated information shouldn't count as a mistake
That's usually what paleontology channels do when they review old dinosaur documentaries
I'm assuming you mean that this proves that Nemesis is a true fan of Death Battle.
The thing with the Miles vs Static TN is how horribly the renders match each other, both in terms of what artstyle they're in with Miles being a 3D model while Static is a 2D render, as well as their positions not matching with Static being way further back
@@BiffWeed The 2D vs 3D also stood out to me as a potentially what it was. Thanks for clarifying.

The moment I start watching your Bionicle review this drops.
(Answer: Only up into interpretation.)
So stating that "the creator" didn't intended it, is heavily disingenuous since they didn't show the proof of this.
Don't interpret this as me being angry that Alucard lost, I am simply clearing up misinformation that can be disproven.
Megaman.exe wielding canonicity made me laugh much more than it had any right to.
I dunno if anyones ever gonna bring it up but them calling Pokemon slaves is such an extreme fucking pet peeve they double down on. Trainers in the manga regularly get their ass kicked ALONGSIDE their monsters.

There are way more problems with Ben 10 vs Green Lantern but I understand and respect the fact that that isn't a can of worms you wanna open. 🤣
Gotta love the Booster Gold episodes mistake was with Trigon cuz Booster Gold makes no mistakes

Nit picks: The video feat. DEATH BATTLE!
In all seriousness this was fun
2 notes regarding the Mechagodzilla vs Dragonzord bit:
- When you talk about the thing with Gorosaurus's height, there are distinctly 2 different Gorosaurus with different heights.
The scene in Pokémon battle Royale where blastoise hits charizard with his cannons at close range is complete BS

In Raven vs Twilight they say that Celestia and Luna use a special kind of magic to move the sun and moon; this is simply untrue, the sisters magic is just that powerful.

He has tons of weakness too this debunk their statement.
You forgot the biggest mistake.

idk if it's brought up in the video or not, but a funny goof i noticed when the episodes first came out is that the red ranger's durability is listed as HIGHER than the dragonzord's durability

1:14 "Leonardo did not kill the devil, he killed an alien." So did Hal Jordan when they said "He's even got the Cahonas to arrest God." He arrested a large alien in a spaceship called the Shepard stealing planets with alien shrinking technology.
14:54 "50 Megaton bomb, when it's actually a 10 megaton bomb" Just like the U-Bomb, was stated to compress and destroy the universe but when Hal Jordan DISARMED it it went off with the force of a supernova, not Universal.

Hal still beats Ben, so who cares.
