btw I think travelling to another country without knowing the language make it more challenging, exciting, frustrated, fun and at the end of the day that what joy and knowledge is.
Definitely, i love it! Thats why I'm here. But i'v traveled to many countries around the world like Japan, Korea, Thailand, Italy and more. Even though their main language isn't English, there are many people in the airport, taxis, stores, or by-passers that speak at least a little bit of English, therefore tourists feel more comfortable to get around just in case they get lost. In china its not like that. In those other countries they also have signs that are spelled with alphabet letters (even though they speak a different language), so if you know the alphabet, you can get around on your own by reading their signs. But in a lot of places in China they don't have signs with alphabet letters, they only have chinese characters (which most tourists cant read). So I've met many tourists/new expats that find the need to find another foreigner to help them, since they cant read the signs on their own. So its a wonderful place to travel to, and "not being travel friendly" just means thats its not easy to get around on your own not knowing chinese, but its definitely do-able (all of us living here went through that phase at the beginning) and its very fun!! 😊
Yea it is very inexpensive, so we find ourselves taking a taxi very often because its the most comfortable method and still affordable to use all the time. But the other options are way more fun!! Thank you for your comment~
So which one of these transportation methods would you prefer?? :) I hope this video was entertaining and educational!! Thanks for all the video suggestions in the last video, this was one of the suggestions!! (Btw the subway cost conversion is $0.44-$0.74 USD, I forgot to write down the conversion)
Hola! Definitivamente el carro de tres ruedas !! Se ve divertido 🤗tu video ayuda mucho a los que queremos ir sin hablar chino. Comparado con otros paises no es costoso
I've gotten so used to busses now in Korea I like them best, especially the Express bus bc I can get to Hongdae from Incheon in around 30 min. Subways are ok, but they are always packed and I hate waiting 8-10 min for the next one if u miss it. Luckily I live 5 min walking distance from my job, and less than 10 min walk from Bupyeong, which has everything I need, haha. As someone who really wants to go to China and travel, do u know of any English apps for transportation there? And if there isn't what can foreigners do to make traveling easier?
Yea in Korea i prefer buses than the subway (the bus routes are much better and quicker) The subway routes aren't that great in my opinion, you sometimes take longer going underground, where theres no traffic, than going through normal traffic with a bus in Korea. And hmm i need to ask people what they use if they don't speak chinese, because ive always used chinese apps that are all in chinese so im not sure what non-chinese speaking foreigners use. Ill look into that. :)
Interesting video, but running a 3-wheel motor with passengers is illegal because this kinds of motor were modified without any insurance, making it dangerous to run on the road. Also, these motors cause many traffic problems and air pollution in big city.if you want to take a good tour of the city, the shared bicycles are good options.
Hey OneWorld, what do you mean by China is not a friendly world to travel just because it doesn't have english translation, does europe or america have mandarin or any asian translation ?? .
Its not about having translations, its about having signs with alphabet letters (pinyin), so that if you have directions you can read a sign on your own and find your way. Thats how most people are able to travel in different countries, even though they don't know the language, they can still read the signs.
Thats good keep the energy
Loved the video! I'd probably get around using the subway or bike.
Yea, and at the same time you'd be working out while riding the bike :) Lots of my friends mainly use the bikes.
Awesome video as usual! 😊 Thank all 3 of you for this information, and the time you took to create it.
Thank you so much for your appreciation 😘

The subway in China is sooooooo~~ much faster than Australia haha
Yea its faster but!!! I love how some of the chairs in the subways in Australia can turn around!! I loved that!! haha!!

So good, you can travel a lot of different places, from northeast to southwest, and make some food videos.
The 3 wheels car is illegal, but the policemen always treat them very tolerant because they were poor , need to make money.
