Brittany- no one is entitled to attention from you. If you’re not feeling it, then you’re not feeling it. You were busy, and you were a lot nicer then I would be in that situation. Real fans would understand that you are your own person who needs their own space

exactly what I wanted to say. I feel bad that she had to feel such guilt just because she was being human. True fans know what kind of person you are Brittany, and you are allowed to be in your space as you need to be because you are human!

@@abbyz13 I've ALWAYS thought this, exactly! I knew a girl who skipped high school for three days to wander around the biggest city in our country just to see if she could stop lady gaga, posting on social media about tips and information for the latest sightings of her to track her movements. Her parents were in total support. I just... what. I would be terrified if I were well known and people were doing that. I know that's an extreme example but it all boils down to the fact that we're all just people.

Hes got years of experience and years of professionals advising him on what to say, how to respond, how to manage etc. Internet celebrities just get thrown into the deep end.

FWIW I thought comments like the "imagine Brittany hearing this from the other room" one were kind of indicative of being a fan of the dynamic you two have, without necessarily implying any sort of judgement. Like my first thought was like "yeah it would be cool to live with people like that, where sometimes you like overhear each other being funny"
It's good to know that that's not necessarily how the person in question will interpret it though. I gotta remind myself that content creators and fans can't read each others' minds, and stay mindful when making comments

The coyotes would try to attack the animals and the pelicans ate the expensive fish that were put in the reservoir. The other guys tho idk what their reason was, they had what looked like assault rifles and those really are not necessary for the type of wildlife in that area. 1) paid to see them
    2) are at an event and met them naturally
If you run up to a celeb in their daily life and expect them to stop what they’re doing to cater to you? Sure they could be nice but they could also be having a bad day.

Just wanted to explain to you guys about yachting. It’s a term coined by Enty (which is short for Entertainment Lawyer btw) which basically refers to certain models/ influencers who get free trips on yachts and access to particular luxury things because they hang around rich men basically. It’s like an exchange where the rich men look like they’re hanging around all of these beautiful women and the women look like they’re constantly vacationing and taking expensive, luxury trips. Sometimes there’s explicit favours involved but not always. It’s allegedly pretty common among celebs. Notorious “Yachters” include Nina Dobrev and Emily Rata. If anyones interested in a better explanation there’s celeb gossip podcasts like “Fluently Forward” and “Beyond the Blinds” that talk about it often.
Also, Jim Carey and Ariana Grande actually did happen lol so weird

I sat for a while but it wasn’t helping so I started to drag myself to the bathroom but I didn’t make it in time and I leaned over a table that a guy was sitting at and puked on it and just weakly said I’m so sorry, walked a few more steps and puked out front of the bathrooms and then made it into the bathroom and fell asleep on the floor of the stalls for hours until my friends and their parents were done for the day.

But then Marvel fans (who typically meet him at Marvel/Disney hosted events) say he's so kind and funny in person. In reference to the story about Brittany's pissed off fan:
It's fr insane to me how entitled and rude people can be, and Brittany, that situation says waaayyyyy more about you than it does her. Despite being horribly stressed and in the middle of what I'm sure was an anxiety storm, you still put the fan first, considered their feelings, and had the kindness to apologize afterwards.
What grosses me out most is the expectations born from the parasocial relationships fans form with their favorite creators. That fan felt entitled to a photo with you simply because they saw you in public. They didn't have the social awareness to see your stress and your literal phone call, and then they exaggerated and lied about the situation all because you didn't give them what they wanted. & to have the audacity to have a "better than thou" attitude after you apologized???
Your life comes first, always! You owe fans nothing, and, unfortunately, it's sometimes the fans who don't understand that.

My lifetime of not knowing anything about celebrities and pop culture is about to pay off.

I know it's still an ad, but I've never heard anyone actually say that their medication makes it difficult to cook meals. ADHD has been absolutely destroying my ability to eat well/not takeout because I can't cook in unfamiliar/sensory overload environments and medication obviously doesn't make food all too appetizing. I've thought about joining meal subscription plans before, but it always felt like "giving up". I truly appreciate such a candid remark in an advertisement and it gave me the confidence to look at meal subscriptions again (dw used y'alls link) knowing that it's okay if my eating and cooking preferences and struggles don't align with non-ADHD people/people not on ADHD medication and that either way we deserve to have nutritious meals and full bellies!

100% agree. It's still not super common to hear people openly speak about it. I watch How To ADHD on YT & she's also super candid & relateable too if you want someone new to check out 💕

My husband took me skiing with him and his brother knowing I’ve never skied or anything like it. Fully got in my boots and skies and everything and we all go to the lift and the dude letting people on notices me struggling to move in general and tells me I will die if I try to go down this mountain. So my husband and his brother go on the lift without me and I go off by myself and sit on the ground and just watch them go past me for an hour. Finally went inside and took my gear off and returned it… and sat there alone for many hours later… I’m so glad I didn’t actually go up the mountain because I probably would have done the same thing! Will not try again 😂
