Nice going king great fishing
Thanks Jake!
I was fishing from the jetty on the 1st of July and that whale was on the end of the north jetty and 2 were running up and down the south jetty.
Yeah, they're often there. I'm amazed that there isn't collisions with them. Many Sport boats run wide open through there. Grays aren't the easiest to spot...
Oregon West coast.....That was great I love fishing keep fishing King Slew...
Thanks! I'm headed out this morning,,,
One of your BEST videos; you had everything. Whales, fish and fellow boaters! Having only gone through that bar once (after talking to at the dock-thank you) I like seeing where and how you go out and come in. According to the nav charts, the north jetty is more dangerous. What do you go by that tells you it's safe enough to cut around the jetty tip? As for the whales, my wife has the fear of them surfacing under the boat. I know you've mentioned you don't like fishing around them either.
Thanks again for putting out such a great video and near perfect sound quality.
Thanks Bill!
I know every rock & reef at the north jetty tip. Been fishing there for years. What the charts say is accurate. Much better chance of getting in trouble around the north jetty than the south. If you're not absolutely familiar with the tip and it's potential perils, the best idea is to stay well away from it. There is a spot about a hundred yards west of the tip where it comes up very shallow, 8 feet & less sometimes when breaking. Best to run out a ways & give it a wide berth...
Thanks for liking the vid...
Just found your channel, great video and I’m looking forward to checking out your others. Do you know where to target these fish out there or are you relying on your electronics most of the time?
A little of both actually. When they aren't where they're supposed to be, I go looking for them...
King Slew - Smart! Great video
Thank you for sharing. Where do I find a fish club like yours?
Englund Marine in Newport is one place, but I'm sure you can find them online.
