  • Absolutely stunning & AMAZING Lake Pukaki! A new favourite free camp spot just outside of Twizel! Perhaps our most favourite lake front camp in New Zealand?!
We spend a good few days kayaking, camping, cooking, dancing and droning! Tom finally catches a fish, and we're catching the rays!
We can't get over how beautiful this region is, and we can't wait to keep exploring! Next stop Aoraki Mount Cook!!

Ah love this area. When I was there in Sept 2022 it was windy as bro that there were literally waves on Lake Pukaki.

I passed a camper van parked on a look out yesterday at lunch time, the door was open and only saw it briefly as I was driving, but thought it looked very similar to yours after watching the video on Tiny Homes yesterday morning. Were you travelling through the North Island?

Oh wow! No we left the north island a few months back so it must have been someone else haha 🤙😊

Hey Rob that’s awesome, are you in NZ? No most of our van was already fitted with cupboards and the basics, we have just modded some extras! We upgraded our tyres to Toyo Open Country II All Terrain 245/70R16 😀😀

Thats a good idea thanks. This one wasn’t actually on the NZMCA website so you have to look on other apps to find it 😀😀
