Got to admit I never go to Reddit. Maybe I should check it out
As with anything, there's good and bad, but if you check out the saxophonics subreddit you should be good.
Here's a couple of subreddits that won't get you instantly regretting joining :

If its for your woodwinds class, you'll be fine. If its to play in a band or something more advanced, then find a sax major that can help. Also I have a huge list of mini lesson videos that can help you get going! :D
