You guys posted on Motorhome fun about the V5 at Ro border, I did reply to you there and gave you some pointers. Well done on your tour, very nicely edited.

Nice little update, hadn't seen your channel before. My wife works 6 months on over the winter and 6 months off in the summer and last year we did a trip to Greece and back, over 14-15 weeks. Almost all problems/issues you highlighted are spot on (except perhaps the V5!!). However we were not once stopped by the police in any country. We too are up-plated on a 3500 so just need to be aware of routes. I'd love to make a Vlog of our travels but just think watching all the Vanlifer You Tubes that they spend more time taking videos, flying their drones and then editing, than enjoying the trip! I just think it would intrude too much into my holiday and pleasure. Did you not find this and the pressure of having to have enough 'content'? One word of advice, think carefully about the air con. On a previous van we had a roof mounted one but were sometimes the subject of complaints in campsites because the noise was affecting our neighbours and were asked to turn it off. Okay if going to park ups rather than sites I would imagine. I'm now going to scroll through your other blogs to see where our paths crossed.

Thanks for watching and for your comments.
The V5 thing was a self inflicted problem that we won’t be making again. We’re just happy to share the mistakes as part of the general experience.
On making the videos, we enjoy it and would do it even if we weren’t sharing them publicly. We often comment to each other about memories and experiences that we had forgotten and the videos are great for us to look back on. We joke that they will be a useful resource in our old age, especially if we get dementia!
We’ve developed a workflow where I can put a weekly video together in just a few hours so it’s not a chore. I’ve been making videos for ourselves for a long time and I’m professionally qualified for drone work, so it’s all part of the fun.
Very useful advice on the air con. We’ve chosen a 12v unit and they say it’s a lot quieter than some others on the market and as it’s 12v we won’t need to run our inverter constantly with all the inefficiency and cooling fan noise.
Thanks again for watching. Sarah and Ben.

I did a month and a half in 1974 Italy and France and Switzerland and I was 16 with my parents with a 10th MTN DIV Army WW2 group and had a great time..
