My question is..do you assign the material (drag and drop) to the .catpart before entering the machining mode. I'm an advanced catia design engineer but just now learning the cnc side.
Just to make sure I could I opened a finished Prismatic machining file and I was still able to apply the material type after the drag and drop. One thing I would check is once you have updated the material, post your code and look to see that the feeds and speeds adjusted to the updated material. Going forward, my habit would be to apply material before dragging and dropping. Thank you for watching.
@aaronrunk4209 yes I just applied the material to the stock and everything worked out good. So to me it seems that your catpart can be any or non material applied but your stock should have material applied.

why save as *MODEL file type is missing for me ?
Do not save as .MODEL that is old catia v4 extension. Just save as .catpart extension.
