- This is a story about how my life changed in a year through learning dance styles of Salsa, Bachata and Tango.
I do not own right to the music and all ad revenue goes to the original artist.
However, you can check out my DJSTRAINS RUclips channel if you like railroads and model railroading.

I wasn't going to watch this one. you know, it's all about the trains. Then I was looking at the thumbnail, and I wanted to know what has made my friend so happy, what has given him this new found love for life, and people, and , Well you have always told me you love to dance, but my friend, this is a new love, seeing you perform, enjoying every step and twirl, made me smile,, and tear up just a bit. so great to see you like this
I am proud of you,, next time you are performing in my neck of the woods. PLEASE let me know. would love to bring Amy out and watch you live..
You look very happy in the video. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your life outside of railroading, both real and model. Great to see good things happening to you.
There is so much more to me than trains, and I wanted to share it. Thanks for watching.
Something different but good to see you're doing other things and not buried in the basement. That kind of activity takes bravery. Thanks for sharing
I sincerely appreciate that.
Jimmy Rodgers was known as "The Singing Brakeman." This makes you "The Dancing Engineer"!
I’ll take it!!!
Way to go man! Keep going for it! Enjoy every second!
I really appreciate that. I love the community and will try to learn more this year.
wow! Thanks for this! You're an inspiration :)
I did ballroom and then Ceroc. Enjoyed both, met some neat people.
The community is amazing!
Looking good DJ!
Right on my man

Thanks for watching
Thank you for sharing your story with us, your rail community! Congrats on your past year with your dancing and gaining new friends.
Thank you so much!
Very inspiring. Great job. You fail at 100% of the things you dont try. ❤
So true!
This is awesome. I’ve been wanting to get into salsa and bachata dancing for years now. I’m glad things changed substantially in such a positive way for you. My life changed quite a bit over the past several months too. Here’s to new beginnings
Rock on!
Bravo, just wonderful! So many adventures out there, just need to take that first....
Absolutely! And never let age stop you!
What a fantastic well done video ! You told the story of your past year journey so clearly and superbly ! The smile on your face when you’re dancing and with your friends tells it all. All that watch I’m certain will be happy for you. I definitely am !
Thank you so much!
So happy for you, DJ!
Thank you!!!!
Great story. Glad everyone got to see it. You never know what one small thing in your life can do. Congrats.
Absolutely!
Enjoy your self, you look happy & do what makes you smile & Groove👍😃
Thanks Jeff
DJ!!! I am so DANG proud of you, Man!! You're rocking your best life! As a nurse I totally applaud the fact that you're getting active and moving. As a friend, dude, that's awesome...que suave!! You look great in a tux! How many belt notches have you gained back? And you got your daughter dancing, now it's a family affair! Yay!! Keep up the hard work my friend!
I can’t thank you enough for all the support you have provided. I hope to make a part 2 video in December to show what you can do if you focus on your passion at any age. This is the video I am most proud of.
This is too cool!!
Sincerely appreciate that
Domenic this is such a heartfelt and beautiful portrayal of your journey and of our community. One thing I've observed about dance communities is not only do they gather to enjoy the dance and music, but they also seem to draw so many interesting people with talents beyond dance. You have brought your talent of telling the story so well with your video production skills (and your drone) among others talents you possess. And it's wonderful to have you as part of the wonderful diversity of dancers. Thank you my friend!
It's an honor to share the stage with you and Shahnaz
Congrats man! Glad you "caught the bug" and got into the dance scene and the positive impact it's had on you. Also glad I got to know you through Crossbody!
Same, my friend!
Looking real good DJ!
I sincerely appreciate that!
Dom, what a wonderful video charting your journey into the Pittsburgh Salsa/Bachata dance scene. So happy to see that you have this new found passion for dancing...and that you have come full circle by being part of CrossBody's Dance + Movement's performance team!
It’s been a great experience learning from you and Colleen!
Ay hombre, well done!
Gracious!
This is such a great video and story! I can see why you'd rather spend time dancing and learning dancing with great friends indoors rather than running the drone outside by yourself on a cold day. 😄 I had a similar experience when I started contra dance, which is easier to get into because its a called dance and not for performance. You have to be dedicated to learn those Latin dances you do and be on the team. Nice work and I'm happy your life has really improved this past year.
Thank you so much!!
Congratulations DJ. It's always good to have a couple hobbies and make new friends. Suzie and I use to be into bowling, she still is, but I had to stop because of pain issues thanks to arthritis. Cheers, Rich S.
It's been stressful trying to be home on Sundays for practice. I am all out of personal days, lol. Glad I was able to do all this in before my knees go, lol.
Inspiring video. You make me want to take up dancing! It's something I've always wanted to do, but neither me and my wife are dancers.
Thanks for watching! My ultimate goal is to inspire people to try something new, regardless of age. I’ll be 54, and I feel too many people my age are stuck in the same routine of life.
Nice
Thanks, I am very proud of this video
