i have a grand prix gtp super charger v6 3.8 i believe that turbo is the next level of the super charger there is your own preference ofcouse but im telling u turbo is wayy better the acceleration is alot higher depending on the car u have

the stock airbox on the supercharged v6 engines in the Audi's completely masks the sound of the supercharger. so if you don't like the noise you can just keep that stock. but most people like the noise, so a lot of people swap to a cold air intake.

Yes you can its called twincharger(ing). Downside is really tight fitment only certain vehicles can accommodate both at the same time (even if heavily modifying engine bay for clearance)
the maintenance an replacing parts is a hassle not to mention costly plus inconvenience as you will have a harder time to work on the car say for the starter as a example.. Its not as common because the longevity an cost outweighs the benefits significantly.

The thing is that turbos can make so many different noises, and superchargers can only make that whine. Superchargers are great, but for sound alone, I think turbo takes the cake.

I've got a bmw x5m and when you kick it into sport mode and stomp it in 2nd-3rd you can hear those turbos spinning 🤤 Sounds like a jet taking off.
Everyone hating on super chargers obviously have no idea how they work. I'd take a Terminator Cobra over a LOT of turbo cars. For reliability alone a Termi Cobra is amazing. Plus an instant 4-500hp to the wheels has to feel amazing. Not to mention it takes a couple bolt ons to get to 500hp lol.
Don't mistake this comment for an anti turbo comment because I love both tbh. Toyota supra is my favorite car in the world but super chargers are great to I don't discriminate against speed
