Peter leko really appreciated Praggu's mindset.. Instead of yesterday's painful loss he tried something creative didn't go for something solid, hoping to make draw with black pieces.. He came with fighting intention and what a game it was..

Yeah, they are burning preparation and becoming tired by playing among themselves to favor the Slavic federations that control FIDE. The best the Indians have going into fighting with Indian Players. Talk about having the foot in the balance to crown Nepo. Nepo may win, but he will never be after this trickery the world champion.

@@AnasKhan-ud4ol I agree. With the prep work and the opening prep etc, almost every game has at least the first 10-20 moves played by "rote". There doesn't seem to be much of the "brilliance" that used to be associated with the game 20 or 30 years ago.

Dubious moves works better than top engine move in the opening at this level because these players probably memorise top 5 engine move till move 10. In a particular lines, they even memorise beyond move 20! Chess engines are the real enemy because it ruins the beauty of chess.

The candidates has made me interested in theory. Can a program be made which goes thru millions of lines of openings and find moves which have a large evaluation difference by a 2750 elo engine(artificially reduced to mimic what a gm might think over the board) and a 3600 elo engine to make traps. Then maybe filter those lines with your team and make opening traps for your opponent. Make this is already done or I'm saying absolute bs.

If vidit is the shark then pragg is definitely the orca and that's why magnus respects him so much ❤

Great win for Prag. I’m still not a fan of his as I usually have no clue what he’s playing. His games get too complicated for me a lot of the time and I can’t follow. But good win for him.

What’s the difference between the white dot Pragg has and the red dot Vidit has? I think I’ve only seen the red dot before.

No matter the form of battle one must always be unpredictable!

I couldn't stop looking at the d5 square. The white knight wants to be there: I don't understand how Vidit missed the two points where it was the best move -- especially the second, because it's so forcing, and when it turns unclear, White has the initiative.
