    Lately I’ve been interested in learning how to cook and bake, and today I bought my first personal cooking pan, a fluted tube pan. Can’t wait to make this recipe when our fridge has room for it lol

      That is awesome!!! :) You can bake all kinds of things in the tube pan. :)

    Maybe tossing the dough in dry Parmesan cheese first ... so the dough doesn’t stick together so much. Then proceed. Just a thought

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  3 года назад +1

      Yes, that would be good. Also, if you use pizza dough they won't stick as much as the biscuit dough.

    Your pizza monkey bread looks great. I just have one question. It seemed like you only used one can of bisquit dough, but the recipe called for two cans of dough. Which should I use???

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  14 дней назад

      You will need two cans, it is the way the video was edited that makes it seem like I only used 1.

    Hi Matt
    I was wondering if you need to cook the sausage before you put it with the rest of the ingredients.
    Thanks, Susan From Connecticut

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  3 года назад

      Hi Susan, yes, if you use sausage or bacon as an ingredient, that needs to be cooked first. But something like pepperoni doesn't need to be, since you can eat that right out of the bag if you wanted. :)

    This looks amazing! I am an American, but what do people in other countries use for the biscuits where they don't have canned dough?

    • @cspann831
      @cspann831 5 лет назад +2

      In Great Britain their biscuits are what we Americans call cookies. That would make a strange pizza.

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  5 лет назад

      Thanks! They may have a canned version like us, or just make a basic dough from scratch. :)

      thank you glad you like it! Yes you can make the dough if you don't want to use store bought. Make a classic buttermilk biscuit dough or use a pizza dough. I have both recipes here on my channel. :)

    Cool Matt! I've made Monkey Bread but this is an awesome twist! I remember the pieces didn't stick together because they were rolled in cinnamon and sugar and came apart easily after baking. I wonder if the biscuit dough could be coated in olive oil before rolling it in the topping mix or coated separately then put into the pan. I should try it that way. I like my monkey pizza to come apart in discrete chunks. I'll let you know how it comes out.

      This is a great twist to monkey bread, but I was thinking the same thing. Maybe mix the oil and butter and even double up the butter, you can NEVER have too much butter and that looked a tad dry to me, and add the dough and mix it up as you add the cut pieces and THEN add in the other items. Good luck and I hope you let us know how it works out for you. Keep up the great work Matt.

      Hello! Thank you! Yes you can roll the individual balls of dough in flour or butter or olive olive. :) Awesome let me know how yours comes out. :)
