So the artist of this song is named Barns Courtney and I saw him play last week. I absolutely love this song. So much so that I started a Pandora station based on it. What that did is introduce me to a whole new genre of music that I'm calling "stomping bluesy rock". After the show I got to meet him and I told him that a Sherlock fan video introduced me to his music (and a new genre) and I showed him this video. He thought it was amazing and said he thought this video is even better than his own. He thanked me profusely for showing it to him and for my story. So the artist approves :) I re-watch it probably once every couple weeks or so, and I bought the artist's EP at the show which also contains the song.

I love how British musicians catch the blues spirit. I hope to see Barns Courtney playing live as I enjoy his music a lot and... I found him because of this video too.

Thanks to your video, now every time I hear that song Sherlock's scenes come to my mind. And the "ting ting" marked by bullets or the hitting on the floor to. It's like I have a parallel, enriched version of the song in my mind. Thanks so much!!!
Only through the split second timing of your editing was I able to see the wonders of Mycroft's expression when he was attacked by the clown and that Sherlock channels some major Johnny Depp vibes in "have a cup of tea" when he's high. Also I loved 0:42 - 1:42 especially.
Wow. I expected a good vid when I clicked on the thumbnail. Then I saw the first five seconds and had to buckle myself up for a ride. You've done incredibly well! I hate to play favourites because this vid was amazing from start to finish, but no one has praised the bit with Mrs Hudson's dancing yet, and somebody had to.
