If you unchecked the create stack option when your in the denoise window, that seperates the two files as side by side in your library. So you won't have to click on the stack to open up the two.
I've tested this on some of my night aviation images that I previously used topaz on and it's absolutely unreal. It does what topaz does already and seems to leave zero funny artifacts or halos around edges and text etc like topaz does a lot of the time. A game changer I think considering this is only their first release of it
Oh right thanks so much for that, I've never used an AI denoise before and I'm really impress3d by this. I purposely didn't do much the night before with it so it was a real reaction to the upgrade
Option Click the eye ball to convert it back to the on/off toggle on the panels
Oh is it? Thanks for that Jay
First time seeing your channel. You are a delight and as real as a person can get. I look forward to seeing your other videos as well. Blessings, Javier
Oh nice one thanks and welcome, I try to be as honest as i can
It's class isn't it. I've a couple of shots that I had written off as they were very soft after "traditional" noise reduction. This made them usable images in one click 😮
Yeah its unreal for that
After using denoise on an image it creates another DNG file. When you go to export does both the Jpg and DNG get exported individually or do they get combined together as one final edited imagine? Ty
The JPG? You'd just continue working with the DNG, forget about the original raw. So you'd be exporting with the DNG unless ya wanted a JPG version without the DeNoise, then you'd export using the original raw file
So just uncheck the stack box and it will export as a DNG file back into my hard drive and that’s now my new edited version with denoise applied?
Interesting! I noticed it took a while. What is your computer setup, like CPU, GPU, memory, etc.?
Ah balls I forgot to include that in the video, ha I recorded me saying what computer I'm using and all 🙈🤣😅 I'm using M1 Mac Mini with 16GB RAM. A friend of mine has a serious Custom PC, takes him 10 seconds. Renders of any sort on Mac Mini is its downfall
The slowness could be your pc specs mine doesn't show any lag.
I do mainly wildlife and aviation I use the denoise between 50-100. Pictures look totally new.
Windows 11 64gb
I-7 12700k
RTX 3070 8GB
32GB 3600MHZ
firecuda nvme 500gb
Firecuda sshd 2tb
Samsung nvme 500gb
Yeah its totally my computer, M1 Mac Mini 16GB ram. The denoise is a sort of render and that's the weak point of these macs
@Mark Duffy also should we still use the sharpen tool or is the denoise enough?
