In this video, I perform an epic shred guitar cover of Yngwie Malmsteen's "Far beyond the Sun." As a huge fan of Malmsteen's work, I've put my own twist on this incredible piece, especially during the cadence part. Watch as I tackle the intricate solos and powerful riffs that make this song a guitar masterpiece. If you enjoy virtuosic guitar playing, high-energy covers, as well as original songs I did with my band LA Sunset -- don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe -- it would really mean a lot to me and inspire me to record even more stuff!
gear used:
Positive Grid Spark 40 amp
Seymour Duncan Fury pickups (bridge and neck)
Dunlop Flow Oxblood 1.5mm Ultex
Fender Player Stratocaster

@@GimpelCodeShack thanks 🤘🤠👍
Nice one!!! Great cover!
@@AllenRodriguesMusic thank you Allen , I am practicing for an upcoming show and this and Now your ships are burned are really giving me a headache ...I am however striving to pull both off at a show .... Glad you like it
@@scottnoricsson2023 man it's a lot to pull off live! Takes a tonne of concentration but keep recording yourself and you'll have it on lock. Good luck!
Really great job! It’s funny how I could tell you were gonna do really good just by the first few notes.
@@firemonkey1015 oh , thank you, thank you very much, I really appreciate the support, I find somewhat it lacking....funny it took Fire beyond the sun, to make people take notice, I'd really appreciate if you subscribed and you know it is good to know you....by the way how did you know this would be a great take? I appreciate the leap of faith though...🙂🙂🙂🤘🤘
@@scottnoricsson2023 Well not necessarily that it’d be a great take, I just knew you personally were great at guitar from the first few notes. Your vibrato and technique hinted me in
@@firemonkey1015 wow, totally forgot about those , yeah , you're right those really are giveaways 🙂🙂🙂👍🙃🙃🤘🤘
watch your guitar more while playing without looking to much in your camara bro you have a lot of skill, watch what you play and f the camere focus more on the guitar you can do it that way
@@dnlamp382 The thing is , I am actually looking at the phone screen to see what I am doing 😕 ( as if in a mirror) ...however, yes , you have the point 🤘👍
Sometimes you just wanna jam though haha
Yeah , like my rendition of Hendrix - voodo Chile I was drunk as fuck
@@scottnoricsson2023 /i didnt mean it in a bad way, you have great talent and watching what you do will make it a bit easyier, guitar first camera later. you have so much talent dont let that camera take that away from playing rock on brother!!!
@@firemonkey1015 i agree with that
Nice, rough vid but NOT the playing!!! 🎸👍.
@@ArturoGarcia-yq9ut thank you, I am happy that you liked it 🤗😊🤘
I saw your vid again and right hand is so tight on strings to get clean sound. Love Yngwie back as a teen in the mid 80's.
@@ArturoGarcia-yq9ut yes, and the thing is I re-started playing the guitar 4 years ago ( after a 10 year long hiatus) and it was not until October last year that I finally got my picking (posture and mechanic) right. One guy from Sweden , not Yngwie but Anton gave me a few crucial tips regarding that. The thing is if your picking mechanic is correct , your body works for you not against you ...after that it's just a matter of syncing up the left and right hand 👍👍
Awesome to keep up your skills, I'm older now but LOVE 80s metal.
@@ArturoGarcia-yq9ut here's the project I did with some friends , hair metal with technical guitar > ruclips.net/p/OLAK5uy_nq_4Wb1XZVEt1xufmvuN7wleX1CnCY-p4&si=iP3a2jJDYgbd3b98
It's crazy, Far beyond the sun is cool , but I have so much better stuff on my channel , more emotional and even more technical, instrumental AOR, Manhattan sweet jazz, synthwave covers ...
