1:10 I'm not really sure if you forgot or not. Ishida Soken, Uryu's grandfather, was already dead when the series began. Then in Soul Society arc, Mayuri revealed to Uryu (while they were fighting) that he was the one behind the murder of Soken. Also Mayuri continued to experiment on his grandpa's body until very little of his body was left. Soul reapers has a Japanese theme, or based off of samurai, Soul Society kinda looked like feudal Japan. Hollows and Arrancars have a Spanish theme, and Hueco Mundo is their realm. Quincies always had a German theme, all the attacks Uryu used were in German, and he sometimes talked about the "Quincy pride." But then again Uryu wasn't revealing too much info, it was only slight tidbits of info.

But they already did infiltrate the ss for the 1st time which shows that they can(they killed a vice captain)it would have been cool if it was included in the anime but it wouldve also made soul reapers to look dumb like why do you think they cant if they already did it
@@nkosinathisibiya600 It shows that how come they break through the barrier WITHOUT any signs and alarm going off, because when Ichigo and the team break through before they can see the collision happening, and the alarms are going off
I know it’s a small moment but that shot when Ichigo breaks Quilge’s crown is so cool to me. The music, camera angle, and effects are on point. Ichigo’s getsuga looking like it enveloped the sky in darkness was dope.
The attacker in Episode 1 is really Arrancar but they take pride of been chosen and grant new power, which is why they are offended over being said Arrancar. What Quilge did here is break down the enemy Reishi structure and absorb them to use for battle, however, this is not a long-term effect and the change and power up will not remain there forever, it is just a one-battle thing. Quilge literally said in this episode he doesn't want to do this because his holy form will be tarnished by evil.
Not to mention, literally in the previous episode, Yhwach said thet could just find another Arrancar. Sometimes it feels like they overthink everything 😭
Just a heads up. Quirge Opie set the bar WAY too high when it comes to quincy. He showed how OP their most basic power is when pushed to the max, not even bringing up the rest of their default quincy skills. You will understand when you see the later fights why Opie is the real quincy in this war. Fun fact: while this season was boasted as being uncensored, there are in fact a few censorship here and there. Example: In the manga, Quirge Opie's Reishi Domination wasn't just pulling in blue lights from all over. Technically living flesh has reishi in it so Inoue and Chad (along with the 3 beasts) had their flesh tearing off in bloody chunks. If ichigo didn't stop it, everyone would have ended up like Ayon. We've only had the pleasure of hearing the story from the Shinigami's point of view, and we know that they aren't above lying or manipulating information. I think it's something people tend to forget because the shinigami are the supposed "good side". - Vollständig in German means "Complete", used here as "Complete Quincy" and for the Narrative "Holy Form" - Keep the idea of Yhwach hating "Conflict" in mind throughout this arc, it's a central part in understanding a nuanced theme. As of now what clear is that even though he doesn't like Conflict he seems to believe he's just in what he's doing to shinigami, you should be asking why? - Ebern was NOT a Quincy, he was simply an Arrancar indoctrinated into their army, it's a play on what Nazi's did. - A scene is removed in the fight where Sun-Sun, (Snake girl) uses an invisible barrier to hide her team, alongside Orihime and Chad in an attempt to avoid anyone getting absorbed. - Yeah Mayuri definitely "sacrificed" a large number of Rukon district residents to balance out the erased hollows. - Yama again is acting out of character. Against Aizen, he never once lost his cool even when faced with death, but here he was fishing for someone to place blame against, he's acting on anger, whereas in the past his actions came from a place of Pride and Duty. - In the Manga when Quilge is absorbing Reishi completely, it's visually displayed with bits of flesh and blood coming apart from our allies as well -- Yeah we know that Quincy and Shinigami couldn't come to an agreement on hollows, but we don't know why Quincy would continue in spite of knowing that it'd lead to everyone's destruction... So either A. They don't believe their actions will actually break the balance. B. They for some reason want to intentionally break it and cause chaos. C.
