Hard luck on Chua. He will be back strong. He'll remember this one match and the experience will win him many tournaments. Yeah not many people watching it live. Maybe it's a late session? This is the best organised pool tournament I've seen. They show the whole layout on one video. Just awesome event to play in. They even have the junior tournament on the other side. Great graphics. And they have the supporters' area. And the practice area as normal.

No, Chua got beaten by Kaci's B game. The Albanian was playing much more defensive than usual due to still having pain in his bridge hand from the accident. 2023 Kaci would have smoked Chua like 11-2. Nevertheless, he showed why he is in the top 5 worldwide beating Chua with only his defensive game.

Yep, it's in Saudi Arabia(like most sporting events these days), so the atmosphere is dead. Go and have a look at last years World Champs in Poland, day and night difference.
Jump shots have killed the game. Jump Jump Jump. Jumping anytime they can't see the object ball clearly. The 90s and early 2000s were more entertaining because of all the amazing safety battles you'd get, guys like reyes and souquet going to war over safety. Guys having to know how to kick and get results. Now it's just jump and get the hit and hope for the best.

I don't blame him though, this is typical weakness amongst Filipino players when they get pressured and nerves get into them then they choke in the end.

Chua ended up falling apart after doing so well and punishing Kaçi consistently
He is always looking at the clock and he is a little nervous,in rack 12 number 8 is wide open and nearly in corner pocket but he missed it,he let Kaci control the game(he slipped his big lead 2-6)
This is typical weakness of Filipino billiard players, when they get pressured and the nerves gets into them, once that happen they will choke in the end.
