    I like that sound I wonder how others hear it when they around in cars etc

    • @projectwheels13
      @projectwheels13  2 года назад +3

      Almost the same, i tried to achieve the sound i hear with my ears from the outside as much as possible ignoring all other noises.
      In reality it is a bit more high pitch, cause this sound close to exhaust, and in reality there is sounds from the engine block also.

  • @FLEIER
    @FLEIER Год назад +2

    bro mine is also stock exhaust but it doesnt pop in downshift like yours, why?

    • @projectwheels13
      @projectwheels13  Год назад +2

      Try to hold it higher near redline for more time.
      Basically it depends on riding style.
      So if you ride with high rev pushing your engine more your exhaust system become more heated, and then on closing throttle/downshifts not burn fuel pops inside exhaust causing this sound.
      But please, be aware that I have lav mike attached to passenger footpeg, so in helmet sounds are less intence anyway.

    This is my next bike 🏍 I currently ride a Yamaha YB125 & I’m in my final 5th gear by 60 Kph.

    • @projectwheels13
      @projectwheels13  3 года назад +4

      I passed motorcycle school on ybr 125. My first bike was 150cc, with top speed at 95 kph. And i still own one. They are pretty fine for some reasons, they are cheap, and you dont afraid that someone can steal them. They are lightweight and in traffic you can go faster than someone on bikes like zx10r. They are cheap in maintenance. Fuel tank is huge, and fuel consumption is low. My bajaj is refueling each 600 km :D.
      So be happy with your bike, and doesnt matter which one it is. :)
      About this Yamaha: if you are more than 175 cm height - Ktm 390 will suit you better. Brakes on KTM is a lot better than on yamaha.
      KTM is more fun to ride in the city.
      But yamaha is more comfortable due to 13k rpm limit, and due to 2 cyllinders vibrations are almost unnoticeable.

      @@projectwheels13 I currently live in a small town in central mexico. You need to take the highways to get to any city. Riding in town is no fun due to too many speed bumps & poor roads but the highways are great & they go through beautiful mountains 🏔 with lots of twisty winding curves. The speed limit is around 80 Kph but people drive between 100-115 even though the roads are not designed for it. I can’t maintain speeds up hills. The YB125 is great for a city but I take it to the mountains & the MT-03 would be a much better fit. 👍 It’s considered large displacement over here. Very rare to see full-size motorcycles.

    • @projectwheels13
      @projectwheels13  3 года назад +2

      @@paulv8453 than your choice is perfect. Due to high RPM limit - MT-03 can greatly perform in long turns or fast series of turns, where you can manage speed well by one pre-selected gear and focus on pleasure, and not leg-clicking every 10 seconds :D.
      And ofcourse higways is also ok. I am 171 cm tall, and it perfectly fits for me. I spent on it 3-4 hours, and in the end of a day, my back was just a bit tired. Good luck in buying this moto, youll like it, just do not forget to take a test ride before to make sure that its best choice

      @@projectwheels13 I used to be dead set on an R3 until I sat on one. Not an ideal bike for stop and go. I couldn’t imagine riding an R6 😳 on anything other than an open road. + naked bikes have the advantage of better air flow to cool the engine & no fairings to remove to service.

    Why does it sound like chatttering when you accelerate, my mt03 is brand new and i have this noise and i am scared if it is the chain or something like that

    • @projectwheels13
      @projectwheels13  3 года назад +1

      On this video sounds are ok. There may be some additions due to the mic placement (right passenger footpeg). Chain can be checked easily. free movement at the middle approx - 2-3 cm, if it is more - you need to make it tighter. If you hear wistle sounds - lube it (or each 500 km). If all of this conditions are fine and your regulation bolts are not screwed till the end - your chain and bike ok.
      Engine sounds are fine until you not see check engine, and check your vehicle at the dealer in given time slots.
      Good luck, ride safe

    Do you hold down clutch at red lights? Do you use rear brake at all stops?

    • @projectwheels13
      @projectwheels13  3 года назад +5

      I use rear brake to controll at low speeds, not every time. Clutch - depends on red light length. On long redlights i turn off my engine. On small ones - i can hold clutch. Also clutch and gear depends on the cars behind. I never put neutral if i see that car behind hasnt stopped yet

    • @Google_Does_Evil_Now
      @Google_Does_Evil_Now 3 месяца назад

      @@projectwheels13that's a good answer. I don't bother to turn off the engine. Clutch depends on light length of time. And I too watch my mirrors.
      I also don't turn the bars while waiting to cross a lane until there's no oncoming traffic. In case I get hit from behind into oncoming traffic.
      However I do have fingers covered by my gloves 😂

    Ямаха чи КТМ 390? Що краще взяти?

    • @projectwheels13
      @projectwheels13  2 года назад +1

      Чесно? Я купив собі ямаху, взяв у друга КТМ 390 і поняв, що кращу було взяти мені КТМ :D
      Як людина що їздила на обох:
      1. У ямахи погані гальма. КТМ в три рази краще
      2. Ямаха більш стабільна на шоссе, через трейл передньої вилки. КТМ більш різкий і приємний в маневруванні
      3. Ямаха має трохи більш гнучкий двигун через діапазон обертів (12800), тобто в затяжних поворотах маєш більше контролю. КТМ просто намаханий що капець.
      4. Зі світлофора до сотні ямаха швидше. Але ктм рве з місця тупо на заднє.
      Так що по ітогу - ктм більш веселий, ямаха більш стабільна. Але через гальма - я трохи не задоволений ямахою. Бо це весь кайф зруйнувало.

      Give it a test-drive before buying and make sure that brakes are properly working. Also be aware that it is common issue for new MT-03 to have front fork leaking from time to time. It's dangerous cause it's leaking onto breaks. But warranty covers it.
