I continue to return to this cover time and time again. Call me nostalgic, but it feels like you’re witnessing the birth of the band and their brand, at least in my heart if nowhere else. This cover introduced me to HG and I’ve been a fan ever since.

Me too! I heard this about 7 or 8 years ago and they have become my favorite band since! To this day this is still my favorite song besides for the glow of the kerosene light! Love their music!
Have seen them in concert many times in limerick city and in New york in the last few years, was disappointed they couldn't get to NY this year, had tickets for their concert in August! But will look forward to August 2023 instead!

I was on vacation in Ireland and was at a pub in Ballincollig. People started pouring in to go upstairs to see a band so I figured we'd check it out. Hermitage Green was playing and they played this song. I must've listened to it 100 times since. Great band and a great time!

You have such an amazing and talented group of gentleman with you sir! And your voice is absolutely heavenly! This is one of my favorite love songs of all time! The kind of emotional journey she speaks of in this song is one few will know in their lives and I salute you for seeing the beauty in it and singing it with such heartfelt passion as she! Truly impressive! I was floored by the performance!

My first, only and likely ever comment on RUclips. This is just an incredible version of an already amazing song. The phone going off at the end kind of just makes it for me, in so far as these guys just blow me away but still are so normal that they forgot to put their phone on silent. Least it shows they're mortal!

This is one of my favorite songs, and I usually hate when people make covers of an already great song, but this....wow. What truly elevates this cover is the djembe and the guitar jam out in the middle section. Someone else commented that F+M's acoustic version was a lot better than the original, and I disagree for the sheer fact that it doesn't have those awesome drums!
