Hi, I didn't hear you was doing a q&a but. Been a female Cargo Pilot (which for some reason no one actually thinks of going too do for a living). How it started was, I got My CAA ATPL (Frozen), but went too the far East & worked around to do hour building). Which as you know, it's NOT what you know but, who you know. I have made some very profitable friendships (which got Me, my current job). When I heard about this cargo flying job (This job I have now). So I converted My CAA ATPL (UK) too a FAA ATP. It was interesting, but a lot easier than the other way around...lol. I do also hold full licences for two other countries. It is a shame I cannot do what you are doing but, My company does not give Me permission. To do the youtube thing etc. I also think another reason why most people (aspiring pilots etc). Do not want too go into the cargo sector is.... Most of My rotations are anything from 10 - 16 nights away from home. Then also mostly night flying. But I do get anything from 2 - 5 weeks off on My return. I do agree on studying hard & been originally a UK pilot. The degree &/or diploma thing has never really stopped Me. In Europe & Middle / Far east, that is not a requirement. To get a right or left seat job, with the airlines.
My company social media rep just said I couldn't drop any names or identifying information. Also, I can't film while I'm flying passengers. Other than that, they can't restrict me from sharing certain aspects of what I do for a living. I bet you could share your experiences in a similarly restricted way. Thank you for sharing your journey!
Thanks for doing this video!!! I start ATP with my private in 2 weeks. I’ve been pretty anxious, but I’m taking yalls advice and using these next two weeks to just get excited (and to do all my modules lol). For real, y’all are a blast and I appreciate your positivity - some people in aviation can be reeeaal downers about the process and student’s abilities to get it done. Thanks guys!
I like how you answered my question as number 21 😂 As for your advice, I really appreciate it! I don’t drink, never have never will so being 21 won’t change that. I also am already almost in my 4th year of my backup aerospace engineering degree so school is covered! And I absolutely will take care of my students and make sure they get quality instruction. Thanks again, and great video! :)
I always wanted to be a pilot. My height however exceeded FAA requirements. So, I became an ARFF fireman and worked my way up to Chief. I Iove Q & A's with you both. I didn't get on this one, Cough Cough 😃 Hope you get back to flying soon. I hope my flight to Dublin in August doesn't get cancelled. Rachel, you hair looks different. Love it. And you have some serious guns, Alex have you bench pressing? 😁 Stay safe and healthy. Looking forward to the next video. Much love to you both
Only requirement is being able to operate the aircraft safely. If your height was a hinderance, then it would prevent you from being able to be a pilot in some aircraft.
No they didn't. They came out with their school funding program right before I quit and I'm not sure it would've even worked for a trade program like ATP. Not sure though!

A good question would be: “ How often do you run into rude controllers?”
Hey young lady is back again she looks absolutely beautiful
Need an update on your cats !
I'm working on it! They're doing very well though!
Hey, just a question. What did you do after high school?
I did 1 year at a university, 1 year at a community college, worked at Starbucks, and then finally decided to go to ATP for flight school.
What is your schedule like day to day
waiting for Disneyland to open ! at the same time airlines will become semi normal ! it could be a year !
I feel the pain! I can't wait for Disneyland to open too!!!
great video
Good Q&A,,
Stay safe folks, we in the first phase of lifting our restrictions over here 🤞, 4 more to go 🙄, hope ye get back in the air in July.
👋👍☘🇮🇪
What about the height requirements. Is the height requirements from the flight school or airlines.???
Only requirement is being able to operate the aircraft safely. If your height was a hinderance, then it would prevent you from being able to be a pilot in some aircraft.
@4:55 did star bucks pay for your flight training? they do have college funding that is why I ask....
No they didn't. They came out with their school funding program right before I quit and I'm not sure it would've even worked for a trade program like ATP. Not sure though!
I would 100% pick up a trip with ya'll (If someone upgrades lol)
I would hope you would hahaha Alex is going to put in for CA after the wedding.
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Alex...I sit on the edge of the bed and rub my feet together. Rachel...WHAT???? 😂
