I now own this lovely LBSC Tich featured in this video. She has recently passed her hydraulic and steam test so ready for many more years of enjoyable operation. There’s a video of the engine running at my local club on my channel 🚂 She does runs very well indeed, tending to like slightly higher speeds. Once the Sale Model Engineering Club reopens to visitors I plan to bring her up to have a run on familiar territory 😀

Impressive pulling power for such a tiny engine!

Love this particular loco! It's like the Simplex 0-6-0, where from the same general shape a whole lot of creative and different looking locos can be made with different cabs etc.
I like the spectacle plate cab on that one!

That's pretty fast for that small steam engine!

Sweet engine. Thinking of doing a Tich in 7.5" gauge (USA) according to C. Kennions' plans.

Someone should recreate the train chase scene from Wallace and Gromit with this!

Shake rattle & Roll! It's a wonder it stays on the track! Not being so heavy as some others.

I’ll bet that the full size Tich never reached these speeds (scaled up) in real life! Was she not a ‘Shunter’?

What is the hurry? There is only so much track.

Johnny James I have a 3 1/2” Tich, and I generally find it steams better at higher speed.
