Anneke is pronounced like Annika. She is another amazing Dutch metal singer. She also sings with Devin Townsend often and her band The Gathering from the late 90s inspired Floor to get into heavier music.
I saw them very recently Kristin. This is an exceptional band around even longer than Nightwish. The lead singer does clean vocals and harsh vocals so effortlessly. Check out song "The Bee" from same album. Exceptional. The guest singer Anneke is very famous Dutch singer. I met her and Amorphis. It was a thrill. She is one of the first to really start the Symphonic metal genre in mid 90's. Check out her first band "The Gathering". I also met another famous Dutch band called Delain. Have you ever done one of their songs? Their are so fun live. Lead singer Charlotte Wessels is a superstar. You have to see them too.

Finnish metal band and Dutch female singer, sounds familiar? :D Ok, Anneke is only featuring here but still... she has done it before in their "Her Alone" song. She is one of the first female singers in this genre and has been around since -94, starting with her band The Gathering. She is amazing 😍 Amorphis takes lyrics from finnish "Kalevala" mythology, and they are pretty special band for me :) Wishing you well, and see you around my friend ❤️
