Blessings Captain, thanks for another cool and informative video! I have been watching your videos during my lunch break.....I am enjoying learning about planes and flying. Stay safe Captain!!!
Hi Captain Boeing. Superb video explaining the procedures for departure of an aircraft. This is fantastic and so very interesting as it is all new information to me! I love your presentations. This demonstrates the precise protocols which are agreed then cross checked to ensure optimum safety once in the air, given that all other aircraft will also have their own departure instructions. Very reassuring. Thanks so much. ✈️👍🤗
Your explanation is very straight forward and easily understood. These short tech videos are very good learning tools. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
Wow!!! You truly hit this one out of the ballpark!! So informative and very, very interesting. One of your best videos, if not THE best. Great stuff. LOVED IT!
Thanks again @Captain Boeing for the explanation. You explain what people think is so complicated and without you sharing your knowledge we'd only but wonder just what pilots do. Safe journey back to Liege ✈✈ 👍👍
Fantastic video my friend, very interesting! Was so nice to meet you when we flew from LGG to TLV a few monts back :) Greetings from the Just Planes team, Mylos.
Hey Capt. Boeing. Nice to see you again with anoher cool video, this time sharing wiyh us some of the "secrets" of the office procedures prior to flight. Many people still thinks that pilots like a bus driver (and I don`t mean bus drivers are less than any other job), but many people i was saying, think that pilots enter the cockpit, "turn on the contact key", and that`s it. This video proves otherwise. Happy landings frm Portugal
Wonderful to see this personable and enlightening video. Well organized giving a comprehensive look at PDC in the US. It’s amazing how many airplanes are flying over the US at any given time. Loved seeing this and learning about another task pilots need to complete prior to departure. Thanks to Captain Boeing for this interesting video. It’s appreciated. ❤️U😎 אני עדיין אוהב אותך כל הדרך לירח ובחזרה הקפטן המתוק שלי.
Hey, Captain👋..Very interesting lesson, thanks for the information about the different ways to receive departure clearances and now, I'm ready to fly your aircraft😉👍🏻😂
Going myself through the ATP theory course currently and the Instrumentation and Radio Navigation subject also contains the ACARS / CPDLC topic. So from the book I can read how it is done theoretically. Now I could finally see how it works in real life. Thanks!
An extremely good presentation of your work💫💫 Well done to an outstanding team and thank you. Many safe flights everywhere in the world together with Queen of the sky.✈B 747👑
Amazing! Also so cool to see that you're an El Al captain I think (noticed the 4X reg in the cockpit!) ETA: Looked up the flight number and saw that Israel has a cargo airline. I never knew!
Captain Boeing, yet another very interesting and informative video. I just think it's so wonderful that you take the time to do these for all of your viewers. Very understandable!! I always look forward to what you will 'teach' us or where will we be flying -- next!! ----- Although I won't be attempting to fly a Queen B747 anytime soon -- LOL!! Blessings to you and your FO!! Stay safe out/up there!! Cheers!! 💕✈✈💕
Saludos cordiales desde México, capitán es la oficina más bonita que he visto y excelente explicación de las tres maneras de como hacer el clearance delivery.
This was interesting. Strange that 1 language (English) fow communications, but different electronic languages for communicatio. Thanks for sharing this.
Привет экипажу. 👋 Ваш боинг целый дом на колёсах. 👍. Смотрела все внимательно, хотя английского незнаю. Но все равно очень интересно. Ребята вы супер. Удачи вам. 😊❤️❤️
I used to be on the ground at 23N, and call up ISP Clearance Delivery, to request a Class Charlie transition clearance. That meant, after takeoff, I could bust through the low ceiling before Fire Island. Of course, I was in the mighty Cessna 152!
Good evening, Captain Boeing. As always, your in-flight operation videos are impeccable and never short of being informative. Recently I have been flying the Boeing 747 with the CF6 and Pratty Whitney engine configuration(s) and have gone quite a long way thanks to your videos as well as the thorough responses from your amiable viewers. I do, however, would like to ask one question: (Although 4X-ICA has the GE-CF6 engine) Why does the Rolls Royce engine require the fuel cutoff switches to be set to, "run" to commence the autostart? I have consulted the FCOM, yet haven't found any concrete description as to why this particular engine operates this way. Typically, the starter valve sends 40~44 Psi of pressure to the Bleed Air supply duct, thus driving the N2 turbine to 20% accelerating speed. Then, you inject the fuel with the cutoff set to, "run" and you have a successful engine start. Again, why does the RR engine prefer this method of engine start (*the autostart switch is on)? Thank you for reading this rather lengthy question; I would be highly grateful to hear a Captain's feedback (or anyone who is a connoisseur in 747 knowledge) on this particular question.
Captain, once you get the confirmation clearance you just showed, does that mean you can taxi and take off or do you still need radio contact and permission to move your plane? I love this channel, learned so much. Thank you.
Thanks for the tutorial. Do you ever do it on the radio in the US or is it faster and more convenient on the CPDLC? I assume the latter is used primarily by GA and smaller aircraft. If you have not already done so, could you give an explainer on transoceanic HF comms. Todah rabah!
Hi Captain. Love hearing you explain how things work… there’s so much to learn.
Thanks for taking the time before takeoff ❤️😊
I did not know that one could receive a clearance via the FMC. This is so interesting. Thank you!
Happy you learned something new ✨️
You’re an hidden gem pilot, here on RUclips! Good flight
Blessings Captain, thanks for another cool and informative video! I have been watching your videos during my lunch break.....I am enjoying learning about planes and flying. Stay safe Captain!!!

Hi Captain!!!
Hello 😊
@@CaptainBoeing 🙂
Very interesting Captain. Do you stay with the same aircraft? Thanks

Must have clearance for taxi and takeoff from control tower

Hi Captain! I want to be a pilot when I grow up. Any advise you can give me?

Guys, can I have a clearance? Please please please :-) Thank you for this interesting video!
You really earn your package Capt, but can the system be hacked in a way the pilot gets wrong information.
