I'm no expert but I'm getting better at picking up the important details, using my own shorthand, and reading back those clearances. I've looked for a helpful video on clearances but couldn't find one that would allow me to practice. So, I made one!

Hey Kelly-
Stumbled on your channel and glad I did. Thought I recognized the hangars in your video and sure enough I69! I’m 20 hrs into my PPL at Sportys and look forward to airplane ownership one day. See you on hot dog Saturday! Keep flyin….
Hello! I hope we cross paths soon! It will be great to meet another local pilot. :) I hope you're training is going well.
Very nice presentation. Very helpful!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Great Video thanks for including a variety departure clearances. Do you have one regarding approach clearances? um how do you get a "8" or "9" in a squawk code 2849 (~7:19 in the video)? transponders have a 4096 code possibility and use an Octal code so no 8 or 9.
What app are you using on the tablet?
It's called ForeFlight. I highly recommend it!
What gps tab are you using ?
I use ForeFlight on my iPad. I used it throughout my training and love it! The "scratchpad" option within the app offers customization. That's where I write down the clearances. :)
I’ve never heard 9 in a transponder code before. I thought most only have 0 to 7 digits.
