Thank you. Your instructions are very easy to follow as you repeat the steps again and again so it makes it really clear. Especially on row 3 when we do the V stitches. I like how you demonstrate a few V stitches and not skip after the first 2 to the next row. It helps me understand the pattern very clear. I also find when you explain why we are doing what we are doing great because you start to understand what you're crocheting and understanding the pattern.
Thank you! I am a new subscriber!

Thank you so much Nancy for the feedback. Appreciate it. But to be honest sometimes I wonder if I am going too slow and talking too much. But somehow I can't help myself from explaining what I am doing. Glad you found it useful:)

@@HopefulTurns if some people think you're going too slow or explaining too much they can always skip forward. That's the beauty of tutorials online. But you can never overexplain for beginners. ☺️

If I was to increase this blanket size and make it very large how often do I need to repeat the 7th row where you reduce the stitch to prevent a ruffle effect? Is it every 7th row?

Hook size depends on the yarn you choose, you can make this with any yarn, just use the recommended hook size for that yarn
