This Canadian gal decided to give your 9 point star. Thank you so much....I tried numerous times on round 6 the way you are demonstrating & it never works out properly. I've made many of various sizes of stars & here is what I figured out with this tutorial when you come to round 6 I do a sl st at the top of ch 3 & join then I do a sl st to start round 7. This is exactly what I've done in all the star blankets I've made. If anyone is having a problem just try it & you'll see that it works out perfectly.....happy crocheting everyone
Often having a Koala in the front yard...the Koala lovey looks fantastic! Thank you for sharing the tutorial...the only one I have been able to follow..(newbie)
Hermoso trabajo me encanta tengo muchas sobras de la lanita .,asís que me voy a poner a realizar este trabajo para regalo. Gracias x compartir tus trabajo 🤗🤗
Absolutely brilliant. Ive just finished the 9 point crochet blanket in pink and white and Im new to crochet!! Had a fab time making it. Do you have a tutorial for the koala. I didn't realise that this was just the blanket only. I did follow the link to the pattern, but I cant read a pattern. Yet. Ha ha. Hopefully will progress to that soon. Thanks MJ, this was amazing x
Hi, Question: in the beginning when you say “first stitch” is this the same space as your slip stitch? Or are you moving to the next stitch? Timestamp 4:00
I was watching a start blanket last night, was only like 6min long. Starts with a circle, chain 6 (3 is the dbc and 3 is a chain space) then it’s 1dc & ch3 5x, end round. Next round starts 3dc+ch3+3dc…. I had to stop after that, now it’s the next day, I notice it’s not in my library bc I wasn’t signed in and now I can’t seem to find it anywhere. It was a man crocheted… So I guess I’m gonna do this one bc it’s a short video too. Lol, I watch these in 2X speed and just write them down quickly in my own terms. A lot of times, even speed X2 is too slow for me, so I skip ahead.. That’s why I love these shorter videos that go step by step but also get to the point. I assume this is one that you can continue to make as big as you want?
Hi MJ 🤗 I was wondering… I would like to make this but instead of sewing on a koala to it I want to have the center of this blanket open with a elastic hair tie to put around over a teeny tiny stuffy animal neck like is around. I know there are patterns for just a regular granny square lovey to do this with where you crochet around the hair tie a bunch to cover it but can’t find one with this star lovey blanket. Do you know away I could do this? Usually you need to make about 25-36 sc’s around the hair tie to cover it up but I can’t figure how I can do this in this star pattern. 🤪 Any ideas how I could do this? 🙏🏻😁
Not sure why this project is so hard for me to pick up. I’ve watched many different videos and I have issues every time I restart. The instructions aren’t completely clear in this video on where exactly to put the doubles
I believe there is a mistake in the video at the beginning of round 5. Here is what I did in order to get mine to come out right. At the beginning of round 5 after attaching your white and after you join your round, before you do your ch 3 for the next round, sl st into the next st and then ch 3. At the end of the round you will be skipping the last remaining st and the sl st you made when you started the round, then join to the top of the ch 3 and start over the same way from this point on. Sorry, I'm not a pattern writer, so I hope this is clear enough.
