Awesome walk through! Thank you for answering my question as well! One of my favorite things about you as a musician is your emphasis on starting with good sounds. There is no need to throw every plugin at something to make it sound good. Consciously choosing sounds and filling the sound spectrum and leave the mixing and mastering as simple as possible. Very inspirational stuff Martin, thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to go through everything in detail. I've been making some ambient stuff, and you're one of the main people who've inspired me!
Interesting this guitar feedback patch. On a lead4 i made a solo patch that combines a waveform with some white noise and then a steep lowpass which is on the edge of self-oscillation. The modwheel controls the filterfreq which then rolls through all harmonic peaks of the sourcesignal. The self-oscillating filter has thus become the guitar-feedback signal on all sorts of interesting harmonics, 1st kwint, 1st octave, 2nd kwint, 2nd octave and so on. Higher up the self-oscillation stops but then it's already in jimi hendrix mode 😁
I love watching your videos. Your performances are awesome! I have learned so much. Thank you for doing these videos, they are a constant inspiration and a motivation to keep exploring my own musical journey.
Osm work sir great keep it up! i really loves your every live concert Ambient Livestream when i got your live concert notifications in really i become happy and feels to much alone like At that time it feels as if I am going into silent space.😊
"look head" allows the fx to see what level is coming and gives it time to "prepare" for a rapid level change, usually by introducing a bit of a ramp to move from a lower to higher level. A steering of zero forces the fx to react immediately which cause clicks, a too long a setting can create audible sweeps in level.
Hi Martin. Could you please tell me which version of Ableton you are using here, and will Stepic by Devicemiester run in all versions of Ableton. I have Intro, but i am thinking of upgrading to the next level. I would really appreciate your thoughts on this. Thankyou Jim.
I am not sure if Intro is compatible with the Max for Live devices. You should contact Devicemeister, the developer of Stepic, to be sure. I am using Live Studio.
@@MartinStuertzer Thanks Martin. I got in touch with Jen's and he said that I needed the vst3 version for Intro. I believe Ableton Standard also uses the vst3 version. Ableton suite uses a different version. Jim
This was super helpful, thank you!. Can you show us how these HW synths are all connected to your machine? I have a growing synth collection but I cant get my head around having them all setup as you have. Thanks :)
@@-Ashunar
That distorted guitar patch is insanely amazing!! 😃

My synths are connected to the MOTU Midi Express 128 for midi and to the RME 802 for audio.

good stuff.
really curious about this controller thingy thing
How is the hardware connected to Push? which via did you use?

Martin what are you using for a Sequencer?
This is Ableton, but I also use Bitwig sometimes.
Ich arbeite mit Cubase 12, meinst du, ich könnte den selben Workflow mit Cubase und dem Push realisieren ?!
