Great video and nice car. I just put my name on the Stingray list and now the wait. Planning of getting 1LT also. Not everyone can afford a higher trim level. Buy what you can afford and be happy with it. If you want all the luxuries buy a Cadillac, Corvette from my understanding is supposed to be America’s muscle car!!!

Not trying to be critical, but your C8 is actually 1LT trim level. As a C8 owner who did TONS of research I noticed right away (exterior) no camera for rear view mirror, looking through the windshield, no cut out for heads up display, no front cameras. Interior, no front camera button,heads up display or heated and cooled seat controls on the climate control row. It is a very nice vehicle and I am happy for you so please don’t think I am being a “hater,” just pointing out that it is 1LT vs 2LT.
No worries. I realized it was only a 1LT after filming and editing. You’ll see the thumbnail says “1LT”.

It's a shame the 2LT options of blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert don't come std. on the 1LT.

Nice overview of the vette! I have the 1lt, and although there are some nice options in the 2LT, it wasn't a deal breaker to get the 1LT, the only option I think I would really like to have is the auto lift, but otherwise, some nice wheels and the high wing makes it look so much better, in my opinion... either way, it's a great car to drive! I had a 2LT C7 and loved that as well, but this C8 does drive/handle much better.

I bought a new 2023 1LT 70th anniversary. Came with a few upgrades, black tip exhaust, mag ride, high wing, VR Forged D01 Gloss Black wheels , cross drill rotors, black emblems & lettering, usb track record
Weather Mode tunes the car down a little, so there is not so much torque. You will be able to safely drive, and not slide around, just keeps the car more stable.
My favorite C8 build. Humble and classy. Perfection.
Looks best without that wonky GM spoiler. Beautiful. Hope to get exact car this year.

The oblong slot on the left of the steering wheel is for the Heads Up Display adjustment buttons

I want one! How is the feel having the infotainment screen turned towards you? If you have a passenger it seems like they would feel left out of what’s happening on the radio and stuff. But honestly a car like that, it’s meant for you to flex and enjoy. I wonder what tuning and upgrades can be done?! Would be wild to have like 800 hp!
It’s definitely unique being turned towards the driver but handy as there’s no sun glare looking at an angle like there is with other vehicles!
@@JohnWargo93 I bet it feels more like a fighter jet cockpit which I guess is the point. Would be cool if they put a mirrored setup for the passenger, turned towards them!

Correct, yes. It’s noted in the thumbnail but while filming I did say 2LT. I was wrong.
