Plus if I think I will not eat the leftovers within the first two days after I make it the meal, I go ahead and freeze it and eat it within a month for best quality. Just take it out of the freezer and transfer to fridge the day before you want to eat it and simply reheat the next day. Hope this helps! Love this Chanel!

    If you really enjoy eating spinach I’d really recommend you to steam it and avoiding eating it raw. It is really really high in oxolates and that could contribute for the formation of kidney stones. If you want a quick salad you can swap it for kale which has similar benefits as well as lower oxolate levels!

    Thank you for sharing. It was nice to see not-so-commercial like trendy meals. I like that it was realistic yet healthy and interesting. I am Korean, I never had pasta with just cheese. I always think about pasta with heavy sauce... tomato or pesto something. (Grew up eating mostly Asian food and as I moved to the US I am more exposed to European food). Would any cheese work? I love how simple that looks. I also combine leftovers all the time lol create something new with old ones. they all generally go well together... I think because it's everything I like anyway so all of them together still good. unless like kimchi and creamy food.. (ew) Have a good day and look forward to seeing more video of you! Interesting video. I think it's interesting how people eat differently depending on their culture/location in the world. Just curious though, you say you eat breakfast at 9:30 and dinner at 8:00pm. What time do you wake/go to work in France? I'm in Australia and or standard work day is 9-5 (children are at school 9-3), but some professions are 7-3. We roughly wake 6:30, breakfast would be 7:00, lunch 12:30, dinner 6:30, kids in bed at 8, adults in bed at about 10:30pm. Just wondering if your whole sleep wake cycle is shifted back a few hours or if you go several hours in the morning without food, then go to bed full?

    • @Edukalebylucie
      @Edukalebylucie  3 года назад +1

      Most French people work from 9-6/7 approximately so they have breakfast earlier than me like around 7, but most people have dinner around 8 though! 11 is a pretty standard time to go to bed in France, but I go to bed around 1 am!

    how many calories do you think you eat in a day ? the oatmeal alone looks like 1000 calories with the nut butter, almond powder and granola

    • @maja2197
      @maja2197 3 года назад +10

      Don’t think to much about calories. Floda like these are good for you and your body needs fuel and nutrition :)

      The oatmeal looked like 500- 600 kcal, it's not the lightest breakfast but definitly not a 1000 kcal.

      I would say around 2000, but it definitely varies depending on the day and my hunger!

    hi Lucie. Found your channel yesterday and totally love it. So enjoyable watching your videos. Small question: I thought having fruit after your meal is not a good approach in term of nutrition absorption

    Is the way you use your cutlery considered the 'proper' way in France? in the UK we're taught to hold our fork up the other way, which is kind of tricky to push food onto the back of it with the knife but I would always get told off if I used it like you!
