I didnt realize banjos were open on the back. Id love to have a banjolele. Your way of putting the strap in makes so much sense.

I love the banjolele! It’s very fun! In the summertime by Mungo Jerry is really fun to play on it 👍

I was ready to order this banjo ukulele until you got to the part about how I have to set it up myself. That's a no. Thank you for the demo on this instrument.

Cool unboxing video on the new Duke 10. It sounds great. By comparison, have you ever played a Gold Tone BUT Tenor-Scale Banjo Ukulele? If so, any preference either way? No one seems to have compared them that I can find.

does it matter what part of the body you strum from?

Hi there, usually you would strung the strings where your hand falls naturally, which is just up the neck a bit from where it meets the drum. If you watch Katie playing at around the 6'50" mark in this video you can see where she strums it. But try using your hand and arm in different places and see what feels comfortable, but also what difference it makes to the sound/tone based on where you are strumming. You will also find that playing it resting on your lap will be different to playing it using the suppllied strap. All the best, Jamie Houston (owner)
