I agree...I'm not one to judge anybody parenting skills, but if your gonna put yourself out on reality tv, expect judgement and I for one, never found either of the parents all that unique. I mean the constant games and plots, all seemed so fake and for camera use only.
Anna is incredible. Maybe Amber can't handle the fact her biological children haven't accomplished as much. It saddens me to think like that, but there is definitely something wrong the way Trent & Amber have treated Anna. Anna is strong, determined, and intelligent. She is going places and doingj it on her own and on her terms. This probably really pisses off Mommy & Daddy...no more control over their ADULT daughter. GO ANNA❤
I think Amber recents Anna because Trent and Anna are very close and Anna, unlike all the kids, don't run to MOM every time she's needs advice.. Amber is very controlling.....number one reason all the kids got detachment issues.

I totally agree with you! The parents are far too restrictive for all of the kids, to the point of not letting them grow. Add to that the unmitigated disrespect they both show to Anna. It should be with loving care they give guidance not discipline and or criticism. In some cases the kids are rebelling against the terrible limitations their parents try to invoke on them. The kids aren’t perfect, nor should they be! Consequences for decisions are how we ALL grow. The kids personalities and decision making skills are already formed. Now, the kids need their parents’ kind support NOT criticism!

i do not like amber and trent at all i stopped watching them because of them and the producers should be ashamed of themselves because they call it good telvision IT IS NOT it is heartbreaking I love Anna she is great and their son the one whos girlfriend went back home CONGRADS Anna your big accomplishments we are ALL VERY proud of you we know it is NOT the same as if it should be coming from your own parents but you are NOT alone you have the world supporting you.:0+ xoxo mwah peace
When I started to watch this show, I notice the difference on how they treated Anna. Amber was acting so different and she never did anything good, everything was bad. Remember the episode where amber’s truck was on fire? All the kids were watching and yelling for amber to get out of the card. All the kids ran over to amber to make sure she was ok. Amber hugged all the kids, minus Anna. I stopped watching the show because it was just hard to see amber’s treatment of Anna. It’s like yeah she is our daughter and care for her, but I don’t like her. They were always so proud of Jonah and Elizabeth, always reminded Anna she would never do anything for herself and she was just going to come home and live with Trent and Amber. Well, Amber how does it feel now? Anna is graduating, working, and she just bought a house? And the other 2 kids are in limbo, your proudest kids, are not going out into the world and start their adulthood. Congratulations Miss Anna on your college graduation and buying your own home!! All of your fans/friends are so happy to see you succeed… yayy Anna! 🎉🍾🍰🥳👩🎓🎉

I don't know the behind the scenes dynamiics of Anna and Ambers relationship, but as a true fan since day one, the chemistry has always been a bit off. Amber always seem to be a bit aloof and detached with Anna...so it pleases me so much that that tough love or lack of, only made Anna emerge not only completely independent from her parents, but made her out all the kids, the strongest and more sucessful. I wish her well
Look at the past episode where Anna cooked for Trent and he took one bite and said it wasn't good. When I first started cooking my parents ate it even if it wasn't good. If I was Trent I would have ate the food without saying a word and then would offer some tips without hurting feelings. I agree they do treat the kids different. And don't get me started on Trent and Amber telling Emma she was in charge of making sure Jonah got up before she started her new job
I think Trent and Amber are very supportive of Anna and I think they treat all their kids the same. Let's give them some grace because we really don't know what goes on behind the scenes of their show. Anna is one of my favorite Johnston kids, and she has met every challenge her parents have given her. These shows are months behind their current lives and it's difficult to know what is currently happening at the moment.

I am glad I am not the only one who noticed that Amber is not affectionate with her children (maybe with Alex since he is the baby), but least of all with Anna. Why did she adopt them? Was it so that she could say she did something good for little people for her own ego? At least Trent is a bit more affectionate but even so he supports Amber instead of calling her out on her lack of maternal affection....especially towards Anna!!!!
Amber is a horrible mother. She is controlling and overbearing. She is jealous of Anna. I think Anna looks like Trent. Just saying. I also feel sorry for Brice. I bet they are controlling the situation with him and his Daughter
I think there's just to many snowflakes in the world....yes have a positive outlook on life but they have to be aware of the hard facts of life not everything is going to be a positive experience and I think there really brave to display there life for everyone to see the real struggles
Let’s not forget that Anna got in trouble every year at the Little People meeting. She was sneaking into boys rooms at night. She’s been caught doing a lot and now she has a house. She doesn’t have a steady income and she can lose it all very quickly. I wouldn’t want my kids to buy a house unless they have a years worth of payment in the bank. So I’m with Amber because you know who will take her back in if needed. A lot of parents don’t care.
