Dope & this is the most technical SWAC song of the year!!! And most of y’all commenting whole notes didn’t listen to the rest of the song. Don’t be ignorant all your life. Listen 👂🏿! Then post your bands most technical song from the SWAC under my comment! I didn’t go to SU. I just appreciate music that’s different and mind capturing. Most of y’all bands sound the same that’s complaining, so just stop the madness and appreciate greatness...

Idk about them them ^^ but I’ve played plenty of songs like this in symphonic; orchestra this is harder than you think 🤔, yk it’s easy to talk tho but can you play it ?
Floyd Braziel technical equates to tempo changes, it’s written in a minor key, time signature changes from 4/4 to 3/4, melodic variations, crescendos and fermata’s. It’s more than whole notes that’s how I know you didn’t listen to the song. There different sections playing the same parts at different times to emulate the actual theme song from Batman then adding the sousaphone section to darken the tone and played and ended this song in a symphonic way. No band had a song that was even close to this this season. Name a band and their song. Remember this is a theme song not a rap tune. Lol you talking about the drums dude have you heard the original piece???? Ain’t nothing funky about this. It’s suppose to be basic. It’s about the message from the Horns not from the drum line. SU drum line knows their place and they fit in not stand out. There’s a HUGE difference dude. It’s about the band and message not one particular part.
STORMBOUND2012 this is a actually a symphonic piece which means more advanced. The concert piece would be less challenging. I haven’t heard one band attempt nothing like this. Every other SWAC band is still trying to master being loud with whole notes. This song has moving notes and SU is still pushing through. SU is light years above every band. Now a lot of SWAC band mess up rap tunes, they definitely aren’t coming to an original theme song. True to what the other guy said it’s harder that you think 🤔. Right now you just listening and not playing. Lol

I really wanna know is it that hard to step the media game up like southern..or is it really that hard? Crazy how something that has absolutely nothing to do with music...and they still find a way to seperate themselves. Nothing major but they doing it and a lot of programs not even on the brink of catching up.

@@RealBron03 ohh ok so money is the answer. I know it don't cost a dime to direct/teach the band but i respect your point. I guess most programs are catching up to a great sound rather than promoting the product to get better and possibly bringing in more funds with great advertisement. Funny thing to me is it doesn't seem hard to me..i guess it is that hard to do what damn near all of us would do if we had programs smh
