Broo, Government Schools in Delhi brought a new subject at School in 9th class named WOW. In that subject they used to train us in different careers, they used to give us opportunity to do internships, and a lot more things. I am currently studying in that school. Wo bhi government school hai so no fees 😁, with very good education.
When I told my parents about my interest towards Maths. My career in Mathematics. They hated it. They said there's no scope. Nothing just shit. But I did tell them it has scope aboard and showed decent colleges in India. They wanted me to become a doctor.(i hate biology, they knew) still pressurized me to do Neet. In the end, I ended up being in depression.
As I come to terms with the fact that the NEET examination isn't suited for me, I question why I should invest my time in it...Becoming a doctor is undeniably time-consuming..yet every time I step into a hospital and witness the dedication of doctors..tirelessly serving despite exhaustion.. I'm inspired...Their selflessness ignites a desire within me to pursue medicine. I yearn to make a difference and lend a helping hand to those in need..While I'm currently focused on my 10thboard exams the thought of pursuing medicine lingers in my mind awaiting further consideration..!!
But consider , as u r new, tired in initial years u will have to endure the pain (reality ) that somebody died under ur watch or they might have been saved even for few hours, if someone else was on duty…. Will u be able or willing to endure these feeling…. In addition to feeling great about saving 100 lives….
@@DrAnshulEducator As a 16-year-old boy, I've encountered a lot in life..and maturity has come earlier than expected..Being a doctor is an inherently stressful job i guess ma'am it require more hardwork..Whether facing the loss of a patient or saving someone's life, these are the realities of the medical profession. One has to explore atleast 10 to 15 field or more out there, experience it a little, perform it a little and once your curiosity grows towards a particular field with time, remember that maybe an indication what you need to persue and its not necessarily true. Also along with following a profession, from my perspective, one must enjoy a music instrument or two, any sport(highly recommend swimming or gymnastic), document your ideas, poetry, lyrics, story or anything in a diary and ofcourse understand what our modern inventions has to offer and what not. it is only possible if the parents provide this kind of atmosphere to there child. In the UK, most high-school students finishing their last year of school spend 1 week in a career place(s) of their choice. It could be a hospital, solicitor's office or a restaurant kitchen. The entire week, they spend 9-5 shadowing the staff to observe and see if this is something they want as a career before applying for the relevant course in Universities. It's called work shadowing.
