This deck can run Spell Economics, an unsearchable spell that lets you not pay life points using spell cards. Since every monster is treated as a continuous spell, you can "pay life" with economics up, instead of revealing Cross (if you don't have it)
That won't work because Spell Economics only removes the LP cost for activating a Spell Card (taking it from your hand and putting it on the field, or flipping it face-up). It doesn't remove the cost for activating the effect of a Spell Card that is already face-up.
Some people said this set would not only have no support for Exodia, but an archetype would be impossible without also indirect support for deep draw FTKs. Is it though? Call me pessimistic but I can appreciate it from a fan service perspective if anything. I'll happily wait and see what this Exodia troupe does. Oh, the Classic CapG intro too? Hell yeah!
Why were those monsters that go in the spell/trap zone not Pendulum monsters? Feels like that would bring nice synergy with other cards and also serve as a way to not have too many of those spell-monsters on the board at once.
I think sadly it's is 4fun and can't make it to rogue, but will probably take the same route as yubel and gsol, so we'll get another couple of cards of exodia archetipe in the next set and maybe they could be decent
6:14 You seem a bit confused. The quick play gives BOTH effects and the pieces give 2k attack EACH, making him 10k even without attacking. It's good as an OTK enabler that'll probably be a 1 of because of the fusion being able to set it.
Another good thing to note is that the quick play spell gives your fusion the effect to pay half and get 10k attack from the exodia pieces you equip to it. this support seems really cracked
I cant wait. I just decided to pick up all of the Exodia pieces when the QCS rare Exodia head came out. I dont think itll be a tier one strategy by any means, but definitely fun for local level atleast.
I tested the new cards out and honestly, these cards are actually usable. I also figured out how to summon exodia almost instantly in a turn with the new cards.
6:09 with exodia blaze, yes you cut your life points in half but add up to 5 forbidden ones to your speel/trap zones and then get 2000atk for each....10000atk plus 4000atk(after cutting lifepoints in half, could have 14000atk....
So with Exodo Blaze, if I have it in hand along with 2 pieces of Exodia and a Giant Trunade could I play the Trunade and in response play Blaze to hunt down the other 3 pieces which would then be bounced by Trunade?
I love how Millennium Cross is basically just the card of version of how Shimon (Solomon Muto) summoned Exodia against Zorc, by using his Millennium item. Awesome stuff 🙂
Technically exodo blaze is a more efficient life points to atk points conversion since you’d pay at most 4000 po and then each forbidden one equipped gives 2000 atk, hypothetically 10,000 atk
Exodo blaze actually makes the fusion exodia have 14k attack because you equip all 5 pieces of exodia to it that each give it 2k, plus it has it’s own attack effect, and now does piercing

Cross is crazy bc it doesnt stop you from winning with the actual Exodia win con. The way he has it listed is that you only REVEAL the cards, meaning, if they're all in your Deck and Hand, you're still on the road to the actual Exodia win. And also if you get an attack in first thats 18,000
Prime material dragon and this card would make a good combination, instead of losing lp you would just gain that amount instead because of prime material's effect.
Exodio blaze gives both effects tho... he gains 10k attack (2k each equip) and does piercing... so even that SHOULD be game, wiping out the back row and attacking with over 10k attack
Chief, i love this, thank you Makes me wanna pick up the game again. But i dont really wanna have to learn the game enough to build a deck, just to pilot this mother. As somebody else pointed out in a different vieo - diffusion wave motion is absolutely ridiculous with the fusion. It's a win more card, I'd say, but if you actually pull it off (and it's actually not that hard), it's gotta feel nice. x)
Also, the Exodia Fusion is probably the fanciest Kaiju fodder I've seen since Noir. x) I've been experimenting with a few Kaiju-related decks recently, and if this deck actually starts picking up (which I realistically could see happen but it'd likely need another wave of good support), it's gonna be fun for me to play against.
including the attack gain for exodia, doesn't millennium cross also not have the effect to return the forbidden one pieces? doesn't that mean that it is an auto win due to having all pieces in your hand?
Question about Exodo Blaze on YGOrganization It says you equip 2 that gives it 2000 attack, does that mean each one gives 1000 or each one gives 2000 for a net 4000 attack gain? Also the Fusion 's second effect to gain attack DOESN'T reset so it just keeps getting bigger, as someone who loves big number otk I might try this out Also like half this deck searches into Millennium Cross so they're moreso an extreme consistency boost
Can i combo this with prime material dragon? +1000 lp every turn could help out this card. If, i manage 3 white magician pikeru+ prime material dragon, then this new exodia fusion. In theory, i'd get +7000 lp per turn and It goes, first turn, 8000 lp 2nd turn, 15k lp 3rd turn, 22k lp 4th turn 29k lp And fusion exodia would get that much attack too... Man... how i wish...
This card (exodia fusion monster) will be almost broken because of it's effect and because of an already existing monster number 35 ravenous tarantula who's effect boosts your monsters attack and defense by the difference in life points between you and your opponent as well as it's own effect to gain attack based on your life points SHEESH! Definitely will be getting and using this card once it releases in the TCG
Summon the fusion, exodo blaze then giant trunade to win instantly? Edit: I am blind, we cant activate anything else that turn. Pretty sure there have to be trap setups that allow you to return spells from the field to hand though
how you plan returning 5 peices from the back row with another spell or trap.....how are this many people not mathing...THERE ARE NO EXTRA ZONES TO USE SOMETHING TO RETURN THEM
This Exodia should have an effect that you can't remove this card on the field or switch controls and as long as this card is on the field you can't move the 5 parts out of the graveyard. But if your opponent's card effect managed to bypass this effect you win the duel
This will probably get limited to a single copy on tournament rules. But its a nice beat stick even if you bring ut iut at 4000 lp, can change the flow of duel and comw in clutch
I'll be honest. Just running the actual exodia cards with an exodia incarnate deck with the phantom God as an option extra deck option is gonna be the play. There's only a couple of the millennium monster cards that seem helpful as far as getting the cross etc.
from the way exodo blaze is worded, phantom exodia will gain 2000 atk for each forbidden one equipped to it, so even without attacking, it will already have 10000 atk
If you have "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", "Left Leg of the Forbidden One", "Right Arm of the Forbidden One" and "Left Arm of the Forbidden One" in addition to this card in your hand, you win the Duel.
With exodo blaze, you're completely missing the fact that you're equiping your monster with 5 cards that each give 2000 atk, so you're giving your exodia 10000 atk
It seems to be 2000 per piece. The effect says 手札 テッキから from your hand or deck 「封印されし」モンスター5体を 5 "Forbidden One" monsters (note that is says exactly 5 not up to) それぞれ each 攻撃力2000アップの装備魔法カード扱いで treated as equip spell cards that give 2000 attack このカードに to this card 装備する equip. So altogether it says "Equip 5 "Forbidden One" monsters from your hand or deck to this card as equip spells that give it 2000 atk." This means that it should give 10,000 atk, but you need all 5 pieces to be in your deck and/or hand, which Exodia Flame (the new trap card) can do with it's GY effect that shuffles back the pieces in your GY/banishment.
Biggest pieces are cross shield and the little green dragon exodia the exodia trap and spell, add the level 10 and obliterate from legendary decks. Atleast from whay i noticed test playing
I think it conflicts as it shuffles monsters on your field to the deck. Library, maybe if you held it until after the fusion is out, Panda summons are blocked, and the Igknight deck is dead without Isolde.
The fusion monster gains attack each time it battles. If its atk is already 8000 and your life is 7000, next time it battles it should be 15000 atk.
What are you basing that on?

This is pretty nuts, and is exactly what Exodia needs in this horribly power-crept game.
Is it though? Call me pessimistic but I can appreciate it from a fan service perspective if anything. I'll happily wait and see what this Exodia troupe does. Oh, the Classic CapG intro too? Hell yeah!
EXODIA! IT'S NOT POSSIBLE, NO ONES HAS EVER ABLE TO CALL HIM!! 😱😱😱😱
Why were those monsters that go in the spell/trap zone not Pendulum monsters? Feels like that would bring nice synergy with other cards and also serve as a way to not have too many of those spell-monsters on the board at once.
Man I was blown away with the fact that they even made exodia cards, let alone give us a pretty badass rogue deck at the very least 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think sadly it's is 4fun and can't make it to rogue, but will probably take the same route as yubel and gsol, so we'll get another couple of cards of exodia archetipe in the next set and maybe they could be decent
I have wanted Sengenjin support for so long omg 😭😭
6:14 You seem a bit confused. The quick play gives BOTH effects and the pieces give 2k attack EACH, making him 10k even without attacking. It's good as an OTK enabler that'll probably be a 1 of because of the fusion being able to set it.
I know in the video it says ? 5.
But the card text i keep reading says 2 forbidden one cards are equipped.
So that's 4k increase + piercing
Imagine using "Temple of the Stone Slabs" as a starter/extender for True Draco, Crystal Beast, or Unchained.
Another good thing to note is that the quick play spell gives your fusion the effect to pay half and get 10k attack from the exodia pieces you equip to it. this support seems really cracked
funny stuff, the millenium cross is probably the bestway to set-up Exodia Necross as a bonus after summoning incarnate.
Exodia the Forbidden One or Phantom God Exodia Incarnate?
@@smashmaniac2008 the forbidden one
Its about time Exodia got some respect, and players received a serious boss monster card that players can use.
Temple of the Stone Slabs should have synergy with Crystal Beasts and Hamon, correct?
Love to see this
6:09 with exodia blaze, yes you cut your life points in half but add up to 5 forbidden ones to your speel/trap zones and then get 2000atk for each....10000atk plus 4000atk(after cutting lifepoints in half, could have 14000atk....
Mix that with giant trunade and you effectively have a win condition
Just to correct you for expdo blaze u said or but the reading actually said gain these effects so its both
So with Exodo Blaze, if I have it in hand along with 2 pieces of Exodia and a Giant Trunade could I play the Trunade and in response play Blaze to hunt down the other 3 pieces which would then be bounced by Trunade?
That’s a genius idea. Time to test this out in sims.
@@The_Young_Lion let us know how it goes
Cool to see you back doing this style of card reveals capg, nobody does it like you
First archetype im really excited over in a while, i really hope konami lets this one affordable
You might be able to use the trap card in an pure exodia deck. I’m pretty pumped for this
Exodia is a god now.
I love how Millennium Cross is basically just the card of version of how Shimon (Solomon Muto) summoned Exodia against Zorc, by using his Millennium item. Awesome stuff 🙂
I think this support can work in labyrinth or any archetype that do stuff during your opponent turn without needing board presence
Technically exodo blaze is a more efficient life points to atk points conversion since you’d pay at most 4000 po and then each forbidden one equipped gives 2000 atk, hypothetically 10,000 atk
Exodo blaze actually makes the fusion exodia have 14k attack because you equip all 5 pieces of exodia to it that each give it 2k, plus it has it’s own attack effect, and now does piercing
exodo blaze gives you both effects. you can heavy storm, and give piercing
A heavy storm that also gives Exodia Incarnate 10,000 atk.
@@kish45would it work with Incarnate if it's unaffected by all card effects? It singles out LV10 monsters with Exodia in the name so what else is there that is not the fusion? Legendary Defender?
@@spicymemes7458 It wouldn’t work with legendary Exodia incarnate but it might work with Defender.
@@spicymemes7458 There's also Exodia Necross and True Exodia, although one would not seriously include those in a deck (especially not True Exodia, although using Exodo Blaze to attack for game with it would be hilarious). Practically speaking, you would only really use Exodo Blaze on the Exodia fusion.
@@kish45 Damn, I was hoping there was some wonky ruling where it would work. Oh well.
combo with Future Fusion and you can get a Necross, tho, it would be a potentially bad idea to first turn it since the ATK bonus only works during Damage Calculation
Utopia Lighting for the win if it hadn't attacked yet
New Exodia support gonna go hard in my infinite LP deck!
I absolutely love decks that have a single sole win condition and end up with an entirely unique playstyle...
Loosely reminds me of a zombie exodus deck back in the day and this may be the deck I'm coming back with
The sheer joy i have in seeing a new millenium shield is unparalleled
I think the Exodia cards should still revolve around gaining the 5 pieces of Exodia as well, for a secondary win option. I understand rushing the opponent with damage, but in this format, having several win options would help out.
Correct if I'm wrong, but is the 3rd effect technically not an omni-negate since monster effects aren't listed?
Yeah, it's only a Spell/Trap negate. Still very strong, but not an omni like was claimed
@@yournobody6487 The activation of a Spell/Trap Card and the activation of a Spell/Trap effect are different things. If you flip Infinite Impermanence, that's the activation of a Trap Card. If you activate Transaction Rollback in your GY, that's the activation of a Trap effect.
Cross is crazy bc it doesnt stop you from winning with the actual Exodia win con. The way he has it listed is that you only REVEAL the cards, meaning, if they're all in your Deck and Hand, you're still on the road to the actual Exodia win. And didn't an Exodia deck JUST win a major without this support and the Fusion??
all 5 pices are at one so, a deck's core is usually 33 plus tech cards. so all keys would be run at 3 so 8 out of 33
Run full 3's of this set plus the 5 pieces of Exodia puts you at 32. So 3 spooky dog, 3 Ash blossom, and 2 slots open for a tech option? From there refine by cutting down "less practical" millennium monsters to fill in what ever is missing in practice
Which anime series was it when they went back to egypt and zork was the boss? My favorite one
That’s DM (Duel Monsters)
Exodo blaze says as equip spells meaning +2000 atk for each.
For Exod blaze it's 2000 atk PER piece, so it has 10,000 ATK bonus.
Stupid question, do the “eyes restrict” millennium cards count for Millennium cross?
Hey Cap i think you missed an important part from the quick play Exodo Blaze. Yeah you half to pay half your life points. But that doesnt matter. It becomes a 10,000 piercing beater, after a super heavy storm because it itseld desotrys it so you have a free spot for your Exodia pieces. That card is amazing!! And also if you get an attack in first thats 18,000
I feel like exodia should've had targeting protection as well for the investment involved
The other cards give it support
There is mound of the bound creator field spell the fusion is lvl 10 so it gets the protection
Custom card support for Jeff Leonard lol looks sick tho
Prime material dragon and this card would make a good combination, instead of losing lp you would just gain that amount instead because of prime material's effect.
Exodio blaze gives both effects tho... he gains 10k attack (2k each equip) and does piercing... so even that SHOULD be game, wiping out the back row and attacking with over 10k attack
Chief, i love this, thank you
Makes me wanna pick up the game again.
But i dont really wanna have to learn the game enough to build a deck, just to pilot this mother.
You do an ultimate exodia deck list and playbook so i can play at the kitchen table with my friends. Maybe do the same for relinquished in current year if hes finally legal or smthin and youll have earned my sub.
@@tobiasfrey2793pretty much why it’s hard for me to get excited about this game at all. You can just Kaiju it
including the attack gain for exodia, doesn't millennium cross also not have the effect to return the forbidden one pieces? doesn't that mean that it is an auto win due to having all pieces in your hand?
they dont go anywhere you just reveal them from pretty much anywhere thats not banished or graveyard
Question about Exodo Blaze on YGOrganization
It says you equip 2 that gives it 2000 attack, does that mean each one gives 1000 or each one gives 2000 for a net 4000 attack gain?
Also the Fusion 's second effect to gain attack DOESN'T reset so it just keeps getting bigger, as someone who loves big number otk I might try this out
Also like half this deck searches into Millennium Cross so they're moreso an extreme consistency boost
If you're talking about the millennium cards in the video, they only search millennium 'monsters'.
I hope "Break the Seal" gets printed in TCG/OCG in the future
Can i combo this with prime material dragon?
+1000 lp every turn could help out this card.
If, i manage 3 white magician pikeru+ prime material dragon, then this new exodia fusion.
In theory, i'd get +7000 lp per turn and
It goes, first turn, 8000 lp
2nd turn, 15k lp
3rd turn, 22k lp
4th turn 29k lp
And fusion exodia would get that much attack too...
Man... how i wish...
The Exodia fusion is not omni negation
YO CAP G YOU GOING TO YCS LAS VEGAS?!?!
YO CAP WE NEEDS TO KNOW!!
Relinquished is also part of the archetype now
These are so cool. Does anyone have an idea how long it'll be until these are in the tcg?
You could turn that duel into a long one with cauldron
Endymion players are going to have a field day with this one
So when do you think this card will or deck will be an English version available lol
When does it come out here?
Probably August or September
So how does Millennium Cross not trigger Exodia’s otk win when all 5 pieces are in hand as isn’t the effect auto when all 5 in hand you win?
If you have "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", "Left Leg of the Forbidden One", "Right Arm of the Forbidden One" and "Left Arm of the Forbidden One" in addition to this card in your hand, you win the Duel.
Basically it collects all 5 in hand?
Okay nvm “Reveal” not have
so... triple tactic thrust into cross?
If you chain light force sword to the activation of millennium cross and get one of the forbidden one cards banished, would it fizzle?
Since all millenium goes to spell trap zone... i spy player running 3x droplets 😂
Right lol
We all know after Exodia top YCS last year, Komoney tell their card designer to turn Exodia into an archetype of it own.
This is honestly a deck Jamone would use from the Manga and anime
In a hilarious future, this would be released where Metamorphosis is legal.
With exodo blaze, you're completely missing the fact that you're equiping your monster with 5 cards that each give 2000 atk, so you're giving your exodia 10000 atk
So does each exodia piece equipped by exodo blaze give you 2000atk or is it just 2000 the one time?
Naw 2000 total 😂. 10k would’ve been broken
I wonder what else will be in this booster
Biggest pieces are cross shield and the little green dragon exodia the exodia trap and spell, add the level 10 and obliterate from legendary decks. Atleast from whay i noticed test playing
It seems like you would run Exodia FTK but 2-3 copies of the fusion spell?
I think it conflicts as it shuffles monsters on your field to the deck. Library, maybe if you held it until after the fusion is out, Panda summons are blocked, and the Igknight deck is dead without Isolde.
Also does this make spooky god more viable? Let your opponent pop off then some a 17k incarnate?
EXODIA STRONK!
