I was there during the pandemic, it was surreal it felt like no one there had heard about covid. Amazing times! Great place to get out of the routine. Sandras restaurant is amazing and delicious!

It’s probably a 3 hour drive from Guatemala City .. cost depends on how you get there, if it’s a chicken bus to Pt San Jose way cheaper but dangerous as those buses drive recklessly.. best to get a shuttle
