The largest fresh water lake in Central America is Lake Nicaragua. It has fresh water sharks, Bull sharks. Also, It has 365 Islands and a major island, Ometepe Island with two volcanoes on each side of the island.
Guatemala looks like a beautiful incredible country. I will definitely visit Guatemala one day for a holiday and I will definitely be doing charity and missionary work in Guatemala one day too.
Atitlan lake also is the highest in Central America. Guatemala has many of the highest points because it was the start of the bridge between the two continents after the ice age floods covered the land bridge but eruptions, telluric and tectonic upward movements plus hurricanes from both ocean currents and the sediments to two of all three divides (pacific, Caribbean and Gulf of mexico) same as Florida and Yucatan, created the rest of Central America but Cuchumatan Guatemala was the first land formed and from there it slided towards Colombia. ✌️
Hi, thanks for being interested for visiting Guatemala... Our country is not dangerous... It's amazing and people here are friendly, and hospitable, ohh and our food is amazing, you can taste amazing flavor from our Mayan civilization... And the places are awesome... Give you the opportunity to meet out country.
Guatemala is just like any other country in the world. Probably safer than other major cities in the states. You don’t go to places that are not on the beaten pad .

How could you NOT mention Volcano Acatenango ?!! Literally the most epic volcano you can climb because of the Fuego volcano (its neighbor) which explodes every 20 (!!) minutes !!
A great video except... The tiny clip of a tortoise when talking about sea turtles had me and my kids shouting and groaning. Tortoises and sea turtles are pretty different, starting with the fact that a tortoise can't swim and sea turtles live almost entirely in the water.

How is safety here? I really want to go
Not the safest place, but if you take precautions, it should be fine. Many people've been there.

Number one tourist destination:
An active volcano that is known for its volcanic eruptions!
(He actually said that.)

For thrill seekers
Atitlan is not the largest, in Guate Izabal is the largest.
You're right. It is just the deepest. Our bad.
