Amen! Addiction does NOT have a face and the masks we put up hide so much. Active addiction is str8 chaos and a living hell...a place that none of us ever thought we'd land or said we wanted to be when we grew up. So we definitely all need to stand strong together to help people see the truth and take a moment to educate, as you're doing (and I'm planning to start using my voice very soon), with the hope that the views of others about addicts can be less judgment and more understanding.
