What other VFC rifles do you own, and how do they compare to this? I have the rattler but am considering adding to the collection and want to reuse the mags :)
I have the xm177, m16 and Olympic arms PDW. They are exceptional. Far less issues than the rattler because of the simpler buffer tube recoil system also much more gas efficient and are pretty reliable in cold weather if you stick to semi auto, minus the m16, that struggled in the cold, but I think that was down to the “chrome” finish of the bolt carrier being more susceptible to cool down effects. ruclips.net/video/7SXil2zhCys/видео.htmlsi=NA8TMzmf06eCge5l
Good question! Something I forgot to mention. No I took it out as it seemed to put more pressure on the tolerances of everything. Now that it’s kinda broken in I’m gunna put it back and see what happens
@@heavymetaljacketairsoft ah ok. I’ve taken mine out for now to be safe. Regarding your suppressor issue, silly question, but have you tried clamping the flash hider in place while trying to remove the suppressor? I faced a similar issue with mine when I used Loctite to ‘time’ the flash hider, so that when I attached the suppressor, the markings would be in line, ocd I know lol. Regarding VMAGS, I’ve heard they do fit but require ‘breaking in’ or a little filing. Hoping to get some for it but I’ve also heard they cause feeding issues.
@@xOMastaPOx mags wise..yes that’s correct, I’m unsure at this point if I want to risk the mags not fitting my other rifle as sturdily as they do. I’d want to wear in the magwell but I’m also not sure yet if I want to do that either haha. With the suppressor.. I’ve not given it much more force than hands yet as I don’t want to risk more damage to the finish. I over tighten it getting the markings to line up too haha 😂 we share some OCD. Lol. But yeah, if I want the og flash hider on show enough I’ll force it off with a bit more tooling.
lol. This is my only VFC model (2 GHKs and 2 WE ‘starter’ gbbrs), so the mags ‘wearing’ in for just this 1 isn’t much of an issue for me. Regarding the flash hider, just put cloth over the base where you’d put a AR tool or spanner, then use vice-grips or a vice to hold it in place while removing the suppressor

What were the parts they sent for replacement mine likes to skip feeding, spurt gas, and bbs don’t shoot or feed the next rounds
Check out me other video for the specifics. Sounds like yours has the same tolerance issues as mine
So overall opinion is it worth purchasing?
No, not unless they’ve atleast updated the hop unit material and internal tolerances
Any spare parts you would recommend getting just incase? Great vid
The upgrade hop unit for sure, by JWI. A maple leaf Crazy jet inner barrel, and a hop rubber better suited to the gun, harder rubber, less hop up.
@@heavymetaljacketairsoftwhich combination would you recommend…
@@alexvf9466 I can’t really make a recommendation anymore I’m afraid as I sold the gun
@@heavymetaljacketairsoft hmmm🥲
Wondering if anyone on here knows how these stack up compared to the Toxicants?
I think both have their ups and downs but I think the Tox takes the win for overall quality. Would love to see a side by side
Do you still use the acuwedge in yours? I’ve heard some remove it due to believing that causes receiver cracks
