Awesome machine gun my friend. i just bought me the umarex MP5K PDW gbb v2. looking foward to see more of your videos and trying to learn the gun more a bit different but very similar ... awesome toys..👍👍👍👍
Also the reason the barrel wobbles without the flash hider is because you are not supposed to use that thread for the surpressor. It's designed to be an assembly with the flash hider in place. I use a tri lug suppressor but the other option is to get the flash hider with the 14mm thread on it (navy version)
Yeah correct. It acts to clamp everything down. It’s just that decent tri lug suppressors are a bit hard to find and I prefer the look of it right up against the sight post 🤣 however, I checked yesterday and it just doesn’t wobble anymore…weird airsoft magic shit..
@@heavymetaljacketairsofttry the RGW rugged obsidian 9 Is tri lug compatible, goes all the way close to the front sight and aesthetically look really nice
Have you had any issues with the nozzle or follower? I want to get one but I spoke to a couple people who said don’t get it, it will break within a few mags.
Nah mate none at all. Whoever told you that has never used one, or is probably too embarrassed to get rid of their aeg/WE they’re stickin by. Lol I dunno. But seriously this is the best airsoft mp5 replica hands down available at all. The followers and the nozzles have a steel reinforcement, they good.
I’ve not yet found the need to to be honest. With the hop set to .32s it’s pretty laser accurate out to 40m. It’s not going to be my go to outdoor gun so I’d rather do those kinds of upgrades to my Sig or CAR15. With this mp5, I think the most I’ll do for now is replace/repair the original trigger pack, and maybe install the npas nozzle so I can bring the fps down and run it on green gas in the summer. But even that is just a maybe because it actually slaps and is snappy and responsive on duster.. we’ll see. I’ll post updates for sure :)
Such a beautiful replica. I want one of these or the ICS CES Ps I can't decide on gbb or aeg. It's pretty cold for most of the year here so gbb would be a bit more finicky I've read, but I can run different types of gas I suppose. How far does this thing shoot? I only play outdoors is my only concern and it's a pretty open field. Great review and video!
Nice one :) thank you for watching. I prefer the realistic qualities of GBBs. On the finicky aspect, I disagree, when something goes wrong in an AEG they are 100 times more complicated to work on with way more tiny parts. GBBs are relatively simple. Stock I can hit out to 50m with lots of hop and .32g BBs pretty easily. With a hop up rubber and barrel upgrade it has potential to do a lot more, and being very intuitively put together, getting it apart is pretty stress free and the upgrades are quite easy to do.
Best of both worlds is the Marui NGRS. You won’t need to take it apart ever. Mine was doing 315 out the box on a .2 which is plenty for both in and outdoor. The MOSFET gives a supper snappy trigger response and the last round cut off forces the kinetic fun stuff that GBBs offer. AEG wise I don’t really trust anything other than TM. Simply because they tend to be put together properly the first time.
@edwardleonen1442 from having used both, the VFC does come out on top. The WE even tho it has the hammer drop and dry fire feature , is more finicky and has more to go wrong. And I found the hop unit to be pretty inconsistent. This was about 4 years ago tho, so it could’ve improved since. The VFC is my favourite replica I own or have owned.
Mine just arrived yesterday. Already swapped the cocking tube, barrel, front sight, and internals with steel parts Also swapped the lower with an SEF one. Let me tell you mine is ROCK SOLID. Even the stock doesn’t wobble a single millimeter… i guess some are better assembled than others sadly
Early version of MP5A3 is such an art. I definitely want to get the SEF lower parts and hand guard but hard to find these days....
Yeah it’s an order from HK situation unfortunately

Great review! Are you remembering to update the barrel and hop up for better accuracy?

So have they stopped making these now or they're just really slow with production?
I think they may be revising a few things for a V3 but that’s just my speculation
@@heavymetaljacketairsoft I hope so I want one of these. I know they have their issues but I’d say they still seem to be the best Gbb on the market

Both are good quality 😊

wait is that lower an aftermarket product or they have the classic lowers up for sale now?
Aftermarket, they’ve had them out as a purchasable part since the mp5 v2 release pretty much
I have one. Great replica. But they should of done better on the stock, lol
Yeah 100%
You could say the same for HK

@@JoseMCM the stock issues were true of the real thing. Stamped steel is not going to give you the same quality consistency as CNCing.
