Laurel & Hardy Museum - Ulverston

Arthur Stanley Jefferson, known as Stan Laurel, was born in the market town of Ulverston in Cumbria, Lake District, in 1890. The Laurel & Hardy Museum in Ulverston is the only museum dedicated to the comedy couple in the United Kingdom. Started as a small collection of photographs, the museum is now housed into the Roxy Cinema building and exhibits pictures, letters, documents, furniture, personal items and all kinds of memorabilia.
