***CRAFTING ADVICE*** When using tape to help hold a form especially rounded items, use black electrical tape. It’s stretchy and easier for adhering rounded items. Many crafters purposely use the black electrical tape because it’s so easy to manipulate to what you need for crafting. It’s easy to remove as well. Painting pattern lines is another excellent use with electrical tape. Thank you for another video. I absolutely love watching them and listening to your very soothing and peaceful voice. ❤
Thanks for the tip, the electrical tape that I know is very thick and plasticky, I have lots in the garage .... electrical engineer as a Dad ❤ Thank you glad you enjoy watching my videos ❤
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and unique pot from one pack of air dried clay. I absolutely love ❤❤❤ that pot, and the texture is amazing too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤
Wow this is beautiful!!! I been doing small stuff with air dry clay. With your instructions I would definitely try this. I can't seem to get my hands on the white Das clay anywhere. On Amazon the sellers what so much $$$$$. Thank you for doing this project I always look forward to your videos please do more pots!
I like to tackle small projects and I must admit it would be quite a challenge for me. Maybe with a medium size pot. I must admit your pot looks great and very artistic; love the vertical lines. Thank you Sarah.
Definitely worth trying it out on a smaller scale Carmen, hopefully i'll do similar on a bigger scale too! Thank you, it was one of those projects I wondered whether to add on here or not, but went with it....more planters coming soon x
I think it’s beautiful and simple enough. Of course not to simple 😅. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents and teaching us. I was thinking it would be to thin but I forgot about the container inside 😅. Love the pot.😊❤
Hi Red 😊 In white it would look like a sea urchin which I think apart from.being gorgeous it's trendy too 😊 I've had a go at making one of these & used patches of clay then blended. I got into.a pickle rolling it out all in one 🙈 You are the queen of clay though & I can only dream of being as good as you one day 😊
Hi how are you? I am definitely going to try this project next month. I need more clay anyway so can but stone as we as white. Thank you for a brilliant inspirational video 😁 . 🐝🐝🐝
Love your videos and this lovely pot! I want to make a small planter that I can plant my plant directly. How do I make it waterproof? Would you mind share some of your waterproof tips and techniques?
I have a few videos where I waterproof the air dry clay but you always want to plant a plant in a pot inside the planter, so this is how I do it, in this video
I’ve been trying to sculpt around a pot myself but can’t seem to keep my sculptures from cracking. Can I sculpt around glass or does it need to be plastic?
Also want to mention I’m trying to make a small sculpture of a mandrake (a character from Harry Potter) and create the shape with a pot in the middle for my mom to put plant cuttings in. Sort of like a vase. I tried using glass as well as foil to hold the shape. Every time it cracks when drying even when I dry it out very slowly. Everything online said I can’t mold around hard objects like plastic or glass because the clay shrinks. If you have any tips at all please let me know💜
What do you make of the ugly duckling???
Looks amazing xxx
...a swan, naturally. ;) Looks great. I might do this. What varnish did you use?

It does give it that rubbed feel doesn’t it, thank you 🌼🪴🌸

Incredible! 🙌🏻 I was skeptical there for a bit…I did not think you could get that amount of clay to cover that pot!
I wasn’t sure either, and the pot was so ugly for sooo long, hopefully everyone can hold out to the end to see the final result!! Thank you 😊❤️

What prevents the clay from cracking when it is drying.
Normally giving it space to shrink slightly, which is what the tin foil does, drying as slow as possible
As I show in the video I don’t sculpt directly onto the hard object, but use the tin foil to allow it to pull in slightly.
This video
ruclips.net/video/5bIyv6bmqMs/видео.html I made a pot fox that could help, I risked it in these ones around plastic
Nice video but I wish you showed how you removed the inner plastic container !!
Thanks, it has to stay in this one for strength and incase any water leaks from the plant 🪴 which it does, so you didn’t miss anything!
You?
Can make a sound like well mountain and scratching it.And you slip you no to do a tame
🤷🏻♀️
