Thanks for this video. I’ve had a vacuum only roborock (The Q5+) for the past year+, and I really want a mop now after seeing how good of a job this vacuum only model does. This video helps me gauge what extra maintenance I’ll have to get myself into. A few notes for you and everyone else though! 1) The filter on my roborock says it should be rinsed/cleaned every 2 weeks, the filter hour counter in the maintenance reminders that you’re look at is for replacing the filter, not cleaning it. 2) don’t use any mechanical tools like your finger or a brush to clean the filter, it damages it and will reduce it’s effectiveness at capturing dirt (likely leading to less dust captured and just blown out the roborock exhaust). I rinse mine in my sink with just my faucet on the sprayer mode, and it makes the filters look nearly brand new every time. Enjoy your roborocks everyone!!
Truly appreciate your detailed maintenance on the robovac & station, I've had mine for 4 days and I've cleaned the fine dust off of the filter daily and the hair off of the rollers on the third day. I also appreciate you sacrificing the extended time you allowed the dirt accumulation plus the time to show all the unexpected places where dirt and hair build up. Great Job!
Thank you for making this video- I was losing my mind trying to understand why I couldn’t get that main brush cover back on. The whole video helped me to clean my new Roborock!
I had to see how much maintenance it needs before even considering buying this. Thanks for the detailed video. I'm convinced this would be a great addition to my wife's arsenal of cleaning gadgets.
I now have a qrevo curv and use a blower along with a brush to get the loose stuff off the hepa filter. I also use Pinalen lemon lift multipurpose cleaner in the water tank and it cleans very well leaving the floors squeaky clean with no odor in the dirty water tank. I like the split rollers as hair does not tangle on them. I'm glad I sent the master back and waited for the curv.
Hello! Thanks for this yet another awesome video. Make sure you place some sort of towel underneath the robot when you flip it upside down. The weight of the robot shouldn't be resting on the LIDAR tower, which is fragile and quite expensive.
Cleaning the dock is the worst part of my S7 Max V Ultra. Such a pain - glad they realized they should come up with a design that lets you take the gross bits out and clean them.
Can I empty the internal water tank through the app or is a plug to empty it? I'm concerned about Algae growth over time. I see loads of people with Algae problems in these units.
Thanks for the experience sharing! Have you an idea why Master have so bad suction effective? For example, how i can see in few QRevo series reviews the Master with 10k Pa power much worst collecting dirt from a slits than QRevo S with 7k Pa only. Just interesting what the incorrect design solution provide this issue.
If money weren't an issue, should I go for the Qrevo Master or wait for the Qrevo Curv to go on sale? Both of these outperform the S8 MaxV Ultra at this point, correct?
Can the Dreame or Roborock work with Alexa? I’m trying to get a robot vacuum to clean up after my cat uses her Litter Robot. I know it’s possible, just not sure which vacuum can do it or how to set it up. Also, will you be doing the best of video before black Friday?
oh god he just breathing in all that dust by using air blower inside the home and dusting it in front of his face... This type of behavior in my household will lead to divorce.
@@JustADad due to my lack of knowledge regarding the materials used to create this HEPA sheet. Therefore, even after washing the HEPA sheet with water, I'm still concerned about whether the material's structure will alter. I'm worried that the circuit board and exhaust fan will be impacted by ultra-fine dust that gets through.

It's definitely a great vacuum, hope your wife loves it!
Thanks, I just bought it here in Australia and it has been made just recently available. been using it from last 2 days and its really good vacuum.
Great to hear!
@@JustADadi have heard on a short if you put listerine in the dirty water tank it wont smell as bad. Ipa probably works as well

We add simple green…the grout cleaning guy told us it was the best

Thanks for a great video

So what do you rate this against the others is it a great unit?
Does washing the dust filter under running water reduce its quality?

Tough one. It’s hard to best the s8. The curve is better than master but not by much. S8 max v has the best obstacle avoidance

yes both do, i have seperate videos on that
Disappointed by how much hair was in the rollers as I thought it had blades to automatically remove that hair.
that brush roller with the blades is extra, sold seperarte
Holy moly - next time clean it regularly then the dirty won`t be succed up by the plastics which are now unremovable. OR buy the black model hahaha :D
Why is master the only Qrevo with dual rollers!? Makes no sence..

no not if you let it dry very good
