DIY Bar Cabinet Makeover

This project has been on the to-do list since we moved into the house. I am finally giving one of the cabinets in the kitchen a makeover and turning it into a Bar Cabinet. For the last two years I have only been able to utilize the bottom third of the cabinet. The shelves had fallen due to the sides of the cabinet bowing outwards and being unable to support the weight of the shelves. I was able to still use the base of the cabinet to store alcohol bottles but I lacked the space to store glasses and other bar items. The main focus of this project was to stiffen up the sides of the cabinets in order to support the shelves and prevent them from falling again. Additional items I needed to address included fixing the doors, replacing the lighting and getting the electrical wiring up to code.
