Love you may God bless you always
My yearbook quote, lol. My fave of all of his
Fantastic.
Where is this from?
Blasphemy!
These poems are so beautiful.
So amazing and touched
“If you choose philosophy, be prepared from the beginning that many people will ridicule you, will mock you, and will say ‘suddenly he returns to us as a philosopher’ and ‘where does that frown on us come from?’. Don’t frown: but hold on to those things that seem best to you, as you are stationed on this post by God. And remember that if you are persistent in these things, then the people that ridiculed you earlier will admire you later. But if you give in to them, you will receive twice the ridicule.” Epictetus
My favorite poet is Khalil Gibran. Who is yours?
What ever your beliefs stand for there's virtue on honor your creator at the end you will be a much more grateful person. Those words are really appreciated specially when you don't receive the support of your more near friends and more importantly of your dear family. Do good everyday and stay persistent is the key!
Everytime you want any change in your life be prepaired that this will inflict cognitiv dissonance in your nearest peers.

Poor Poe. You would love to give him a hug and tell him it will be alright. Such depression must be unbearable.
I love how peots like Edgar talk of nature so much.
Anyone else notice how young so many of these poets were when they died.
Heart break kills the sensitive
Life expectancy was close to 40 in the 1800s
I did noticed and that got me sickly worried, cos I'm a powder myself. Even those who lived long wished it was short.
The last battle that we fight in our lives is irrelevancy in old age. It’s worse than having nothing on your slate but waiting for the grave.
In juxtaposition to what I just said is our four-generational household, where everyone, from five to ninety, is intertwined in a thriving weaving of love, caring and delight.
I love the way you think
The great irony of "The Road Not Taken" is that Frost never had any intention of its meaning being more than a lighthearted jab at a friend's indecisiveness. It's also been speculated that the poem contributed to his friend's untimely death.
The “Sad Poems For Sorrowful Times” collection is sadly beautiful,
From the weight of its words, my heart is full.
Dwelling in this mood can lead to deep melancholy,
I kid you not, that’s no folly.
Dark. Depressing. Dreary. Haunting. Mournful.
The poems are beautiful and the voice is calming. It’s like a beautiful song playing in my ears as I lay asleep.
There is a Kind of secret, obscure, Melancholic, and wonderful magic in These words. The narration only contributes to it.
Excellent!!!! 🤗
These poems are really beautiful and I like them all.
My favourite here is from Robert Frost, The road not taken: “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less travelled by and that has made all the difference.”
It is one of my favourites also. Its beautiful.
Your voice is healing my soul... You rock! Thank you!
These are some of the best readings of heard of these poems. Excellent job
Why do I weep listening to these poems? 🌼 Thank you for sharing 🕊️
My bad luck I found your poem now and I listened from deep of my heart. It's touched me, melted me in thoughts!
Love from my small town in India.
Relax ... the quieter you are, the more you can hear, feel and above all understand the wisdom of life's meanings ...
Another one 💪🏼 10+ minutes! My prayers have been answered 🙏🏼😅
Poe is a class above everyone else. Truly a master.
👏👌👏
I like your minimalist approach on these wonderful poems. Where you allow the readers to be the main focus of the video and they certainly didn't disappointed the poems just spoke to me thank you for the excellent work.
We should all be grateful to a degree that we live in the 21 century... this poet's lived a hard and short life.
I absolutely live this channel!
Yeats is such a shooting star, not only in poetry, but in all of literature and history.
So magical! Finally I got one thing that I love doing...And it doesn't bother me that someone is listening or not !
In the semi-dark she sits before the computer screen,
coffee within reach and just shy of midnight.
Neon peeks between the gaps in the venation blind
and paints a luminous magic on the wall.
A black cat's curled at one end of the sofa and,
content with the bliss that comfort affords,
the little animal purrs as it sleeps.
The gentle tap of a keyboard cocks the feline's ear.
Outside a light drizzle begins to fall;
it turns the sidewalk into a mirror
and speeds the pace of all upon it.
In the distance a siren wails as it fades.
In this simplicity there exists a beauty,
mediocre to some; magnificent to others.
Regardless the value, which is measured by the clock's tick,
that beauty is beyond price; like love and the esoteric.

Existence is a grain of sand,
it courses through an endless time
Leaving footprints that mark the land,
gently swept away from the tide

I love these so much!
Money is a strange business. People who haven't got it aim at it strongly. People who have are full of troubles.
I have no idols. I admire work, dedication and competence.

Hey
Maybe we can be relate
The Elephant Rope (Belief)
A gentleman was walking through an elephant camp, and he spotted that the elephants weren’t being kept in cages or held by the use of chains.
All that was holding them back from escaping the camp, was a small piece of rope tied to one of their legs.
As the man gazed upon the elephants, he was completely confused as to why the elephants didn’t just use their strength to break the rope and escape the camp. They could easily have done so, but instead, they didn’t try to at all.
Curious and wanting to know the answer, he asked a trainer nearby why the elephants were just standing there and never tried to escape.
The trainer replied:
“when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”
Resonates deeply , still🙏
Yeaaiii I am the first one. Another amateur poetry channel here. enjoying poems like rain, sun, moon or the stars. Poetry is peace. A soothing landscape to the mind.

I wish I could read like you ...So deep!
Quite a welcome posting. Poetry is really the only avenue we have left it seems to fight the overbearance of the world we are living in these days.
Just one suggestion: I think the poem Bereft by Robert Frost would be much more fitting than your selection. Frost had such a grand collection of poems it would do it justice to share some of the others from time to time.
My favorite poet? It’s not a matter of favorites, but which poet’s profundity pieces my consciousness at a given point in time thereby taking up his or her place in my heart.
Sound and sense 💙🌹
There's a narration of 'when you're old' by Collin Farrell, it's really good.
The others were well-crafted but where I truly felt the pain and sorrow of existance was in Edgar Allan Poe's ALONE.
wow..this channel is the best place to be
Right where I left me. I still got it.
I must be doing something right because it's a great time and the future is bright.
Prayers of purpose.
When you are old and grey.
Young and fell of sleep.
And nodding by the sleep.
Taking down old age.
And slowly nodding to sleep.
And dreaming of an old age.
Your eyes once dream of.
Written by prayers of purpose.
My favorite poem ❤ 🤍.
My love Poetry but I'm live in Iraq 🇮🇶 ♥ ✨

How did you create this video in terms of the format if you don't mind me asking? In terms of the technical aspects. It's very beautiful in terms of the style and speed of the words.
Were all in the gutter, but some of us are looking up at the stars.
Too much words for the apocalyptic land we live in!>>

Is there any way to get in touch with Mr. Shane Morris?
I found a small damp puddle It happened to be moving on in the wrong direction its struggle to keep on going opened my eyes to a pond where the wind was blowing hard its splashes were not stirring as land on the other side where I am not passing as I tossed my umbrella up in the air I kept a dry eye then tucked my embroidary handkerchief back into my palm and knew that it was a storm.
