I have a Golden / Sheppard 100lb baby, who is smart as a whip, but Lando is just truly an exceptionally smart pup! And a heart just full of love for his family. What a amazing breed GSP are. Wow 💗

I simply love outdoors, nature , travelling .. and with such interests, I do watch most of your videos and I love it .. especially as this adventure and travel is done with your family togeather.. I feel that makes it even more fun... I stay in india and here people are not as interested in camping or overlanding as you call it, nor do we have such camp spots and also such 4 wheel vehicles .. but I love and get so much hapiness watching your videos... God bless you all.
Great video. FYI we've trained our dog to jump on the hood and climb up into the rooftop tent instead of having to carry him. We put a carpet piece up the hood and windshield to prevent slipping and damage. He runs up and down it.

It was great meeting y'all at the visiter center in Big Bend, we were in the large white home made truck camper. Will watch more when we get home in a couple of weeks.
From 7.00, this is great footage of the terrain that Jeeps are made for. Nice JL, but I prefer the style of the JK. Looks like some great exploring ahead.
Loved our time on that trail. So much we plan on doing it again along with the River Rd in late October if yall want to come along. We had 5 rigs on last trip.
The road along the river to the state park was awesome...the trails in the state park aren’t as well kept but we had a blast. San Angelo just down the road from me..
I love Big Bend! The night sky is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I’m a bit jealous though, I’m currently in an RV and wasn’t able to go back country. Hopefully I’ll be able to transition to a 4WD soon and get on trails like that.
Great trail filming. ! When you start your Jeep , you shud wait for the dash lights to go Off, so the fuel pump is On, or you may fry the fuel pump prematurely.. I’ve heard it’s an issue on some jeeps. Travel safe ! 🙏
Never understood the draw of the dessert to peoples souls. I have many friends who retired to Arizona. They adore it. I just don’t see the beauty at all. Wish I did. I love trees, lakes, rivers, mountains and the sea. Different strokes is important, or we’d all live in the same place. Happy you all see the wonder and beauty of the dessert. If I were Catholic, I’d think it was Purgatory 😅
Love Big Bend National Park! Many miles of trails! The border wall God built at the river is awesome! Did you register for the Black Gap Trail Badge of Honor?
And more silly question, we live on sailboat, and we have several “medical emergency” boxes on our home, what do you guys have, as far as “1st Aid” is concerned?? With all the desert locations you go to, anti-venom sounds like a pretty good idea 🤙✅💙💚
Hey guys love your videos i live in NZ you guys have seen more of my country than I have haha. What year are your jeeps and what engine do they have.Im thinking of building one up but they are so expensive here. Keep up the cool vids and stay safe cheers Dave .
Jorge Cabrera - The white one is stock. The blue one is lifted. Both did great on all the trails. Your stock Sahara will be awesome for hitting the trails. 👍🏻
I have always understood that dogs were not allowed in the back country at Big Bend. Since I don’t go on any adventure without my dog I have avoided planning trips there. Did any of the Rangers say anything to you about it?
Hi there. The Rangers told us that dogs are allowed with you wherever your vehicle can go. They’re not allowed on hiking trails or just left wandering loose. Hope that helps. 🐕
@@Suki2010100 - oops, I read that wrong. We run about 18 psi on the 35s and the 37’s that usually does it unless it’s an extremely rough trail. Hope that helps.
Always very helpful, we will go down to big bend in March. There are no reservations available so I want to see if I can score one of those sweet hidden spots...
Bivouac JT - You have to camp at assigned spots in the backcountry and you reserve them when you get your backcountry permit so you know when going in that you have a site. Also, you can reserve multiple days at a time so it is pretty easy to plan a multi-day backcountry trip.
Yes. There were a lot of available spots when we arrived. If we had arrived late there’s always a camp just outside the park that we could have stayed at for one night. 👍🏻

I'd love to do this kind of road trip with my family in the future..always in my bucket list.. 👍👍
Love it and thanks for sharing beautiful places!

TomandTina Matthews - Awesome idea 💡 We’ll try that. 🐕
Nice little jeep wave towards the end

David Stillman - he gently touched one when we first got there and then stayed clear of them after that. ❤️
I should have watched this video first, Black cat trail in Big Bend. y'all rock.
Love all the extra content you've been putting out.
Great video, love the way to see the difference between the JK and the JL!! Cool footage from you guys! 🇳🇱❤️🇨🇦💪✌️😀 have fun over there 😀

Can't wait to see more of your experiences there.

Would live to join, let us know.
That's awesome!!! That new Rubi needs a 2 inch lift with some bead lock wheels & 35 inch tires.
Tiny little 35s?
@@HarryKuloh ok, maybe 37 inch then with a Teraflex 3.5 inch lift :D
Hassan Alatrash - Were doing the build next week. Stay tuned 🤙🏻
Another great one
Love this trail. Hope you guys loved it as much as I did
lloydrage - So good! We’ll definitely be back!
Great episode! Make sure to check out Big Bend State Park!!!
It’s on the list for next time. 👍🏻

Have you considered a shield under your Jeeps to protect your oil pan and other parts against the rocks and stuff you drive over?
Yes. We have some under armour. Might install more.

Love Big Bend National Park! Many miles of trails! The border wall God built at the river is awesome! Did you register for the Black Gap Trail Badge of Honor?
Hooligan Times - Yes a very impressive border. We didn’t register - we’ll have to do it again.
Well , that was a nice ride ! , grey jeep sounds like it has a header on it ? ~peace~
i noticed that you didnt airdown.... it would make off-road trails alot more comfortable
You’re right, but after we did Black Gap we started airing down and it made a big difference. 👍🏻
Can you guys explain what exactly is “4 low/high” ?? We really know nothing of 4X4 Jeep terminology, seems super interesting

Are both your jeeps lifted?
Seemed like a great place to be, how long did it take you to get to your 1st camp spot once you got off the road to black gap.
It took about 2 1/2 hrs. After the black gap section, the trail is pretty passable and you can move along at a good pace. Beautiful country!
How long do you guys usually stay in one spot?

Finger tips tapping desk.
Which backcountry site did you camp at (name)?
One of them was Hannold Draw 👍🏻
Are your jeeps stock or do they have any lift kits? I want to drive Big Bend but I have a stock Jeep Sahara
Jorge Cabrera - The white one is stock. The blue one is lifted. Both did great on all the trails. Your stock Sahara will be awesome for hitting the trails. 👍🏻
Are yall West Texas natives? I'd like to hit some trail will yall sometime!
We’re not from the area but we sure enjoyed our visit. Will definitely be back. We love Texas. 🇺🇸

@@EFRT What did you end up doing with your pup since you can't take him on any of the trails in BBNP?
FallingSpark225 - We didn’t end up doing a lot of hiking this time but when we did, one of us stayed back at camp with Lando.
😯☺️👍👌
1:13 Judas Priest wrote a song about that.
How low did you air down to?
That all depends on how low we are setting our psi. On the average 5-10 minutes.
Sorry, let me rephrase that, what psi do you recommend for the back country roads?👍

Are there multiple desperate camping spots where you ended up. It would have sucked if there was only one spot and you drove three hours for nothing.
Bivouac JT - You have to camp at assigned spots in the backcountry and you reserve them when you get your backcountry permit so you know when going in that you have a site. Also, you can reserve multiple days at a time so it is pretty easy to plan a multi-day backcountry trip.
