Like you, I have moved on from the D3200 to a full computerized DAW, but I still have mine. Do you know if it could be used as an analog mixer to string up a bunch of synths I've acquired over the years? The user manual has block diagram on the next last informational page (page 188 in my user manual) that doesn't make clear, to me at least, if it is possible to route inputs (such as my synths) out through the Master L/R jacks. I am going to try, I'm sure I'll get sound, but I don't know if has gone through a A to D and then D to A conversion, or if it's simply stayed in the analog domain.
Also, the video IS very helpful. I did this long ago and have brought the few songs I did over. Lining the tracks up in Pro Tools turned out to be a challenge, but that's a story for another day . . . :)
Hi Fred, yeah I'm pretty sure you will find once the audio is inside the machine it gets converted to digital, playing live I used to use a little Yamaha mixer which are reasonably priced, very clean and pretty good bang for buck, it had two keyboards running stereo plugged into it and two sound modules running stereo plus an acoustic guitar. The main L & R outs were sent to FOH and Auxiliaries for on stage monitoring.
@@Maioro77 yes you’re right. I used some magnification to see the “AD” box right after the analog input trim controls on the diagram in the user manual. Well at least I got reacquainted with one song I never transferred over that was still in the D3200. Thanks for the kind reply!
@@fredmanteghian5913 I meant to say prior to going "full DAW" I used to mix down a song on the Korg and put it on a CD, then import the song into a PC so I could use those clever little mastering plugins that Voxengo and Acuma do, kind of remastering I guess but at least it kept everything in the digital domain.
Sorry I don't think that is possible, it would have been out in the public domain years ago if it was, if Korg had designed a feature like that into the D 3200 they would have sold another 100 container loads of them even if they were a hundred bucks dearer. The little monochrome screen was always the worst aspect of an otherwise excellent machine.
Great video. This is a good trick to know. Do you happen to have the "I'd Be A Fool" demo from Korg still on your D3200? If so, any chance of making a dbk and sharing? Regards!
@@agsiegel3 I'm grabbing a d888 this week and I'm told that it still has the original demo song on it as well. Great to have in general. There's functions on this machine that I haven't even taken advantage of and it's been nearly 15 years!!
@@Bassguitarist1985 Exactly. The D3200 demo it very good for seeing how automation is used along with modified effects, effective use of 32 tracks, mixing levels, eq, compression to get final mix up to level, etc. I actually had some email exchanges with Frank McComb through this process. He wrote and recorded the demo. He was super nice and very helpful.
@@agsiegel3 that's great to know yeah I have a d3200 that I bought new years ago then came across a second hand one that needed board work that I repaired. I'm always on the hunt for a 2seemy interface but Wilfred no longer makes them
Большое спасибо! Наконец разобрался с Вашей помощью. Подскажите пожалуйста. Могу я на ней скопировать выборочные треки? Например только 1, 3, 5 за один раз? Thank you very much! You've helped me a lot! Tell me please. Can I copy selected tracks on it? For example, only 1, 3, 5 at a time?
Maybe but I'm not sure.To be honest it doesn't much matter, in this video I wanted to copy only 10 tracks but had to copy 16, I just deleted those 6 blank tracks once they were in the Computer.
Hi, does the D3200 export tempo map information in the WAVs as well, like as a BWF or something similar?
I am in process of making a CD..so making outputs go into my Zoom Q 8 works well also
Korg does well
Good information, thanks for sharing.

Can you help me how to connect this korg D3200 to a computer screen

Hi Leonart, hey I just found a video, just search a dude called Bill Hall, Vga install to Korg D3200, a bit of electronics experience would be useful.

Thank you, Sir 🫡
