@@Leik2487 Freeze dried or dehydrated, they are single ingredient; no artificial color or flavor, no salt, no sugar, etc.
I have small breeds, toy poodle, mini poodle. I get either for them. No bones, except dehydrated tiny anchovy fish around 1.5 in long. After dehydration it gets thin.

Be careful even with freeze dried bones. Everything I researched said they were ok for your dog. I gave my dog one and proceeded to spend the next day at the vet. My dog has multiple pieces of bone chunks stuck in his intestines. The vet is fairly confident they will eventually work their way out so we are monitoring and praying it happens and that we don't have to subject our dog to surgery. Even if bones crumble because they're freeze dried doesn't mean your dog will actually chew them properly. If your dog swallows large pieces of food I suggest avoiding freeze dried bones.

@@geydioIn my case my dog had a surgeey and had a peace of intestine removed with a bone stuck in it. We had 2 months of recovery, but not all dogs recover from this surgery. So it is better to avoid bones.

You should make a video going more into depth on grains and plant matter for dogs and cats when they consume an animal who eats these things! I work at a pet store and im wanting to feed raw and I get so many people saying how when a large cat or wolf eat a prey, They are also eating all the plant and grain matter from the animals they are consuming, therefore there body is digesting and eating these things naturally! But I wonder if there is a difference from kibble vs an actual animal eating these things! I hope that wasn't confusing but I would love to see a video on this topic!

I watched your video about rice not being good for dogs and had a question about that. I didn't know if it was appropriate to ask on instagram so here I am! My dog has a very sensitive stomach and it took me a few years to find a kibble that works for him, and as you may guess, it's lamb and rice. I'm planning on moving more towards raw feeding, but right now doing 50/50 because of the cost. I know this is kinda far fetched but I was wondering if there is a better "filler" in these kibble foods than rice. I kinda don't wanna change the kibble because it really agrees with my dog's stomach and probably won't switch, but I was still wondering. Thanks!

So the answer to which is safer ,freeze drying does not kill, viruses they go into a hibernation mode , bacteria slows down due to the removal of water but are not killed, salmonella will stop from multiplying but not be killed , freeze drying does however kill parasites. freeze drying is a food preservation process not a food safe process. as informative as this was about the process it does not give you the information you should have before deciding if u want to go this route with your pets daily food. feeding your dogs bones is an unnecessary risk in my opinion as one can see by the comment below , legit scientific research doesn't usually show up on you tube.
If a dog grabs and eats a chicken from the barn and it has salmonella the dog gets salmonella poisoning would not the same apply to your pet if u gave it raw chicken contaminated with salmonella? If a dog eats a rat bones and all it runs the risk of getting bone caught in its guts same applies to your pet if u give it bones. For some its just common sense really

I actually found a raw diet kibble! The brand name is nature’s variety instinct the raw brand and it’s a pure raw diet kibble with no extra ingredients! And they have it for dogs and cats!
(Beef version) The ingredients for dogs are: beef, beef liver, pumpkin seeds, beef spleen, carrots, apples, butternut squash, ground flaxseed, dried kelp, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, salmon oil, rosemary extract, blueberries, and dried chicory root. The use monomorillonite clay for shape, mixed tocopherols as a preservative, and freeze dry it.
(Rabbit version)For cats the ingredients are: rabbit (including ground rabbit bone), pork, pork liver, pumpkin seeds, carrots, apples, butternut squash, rabbit liver, rabbit kidney, rabbit lung, dried kelp, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, salmon oil, rosemary extract, blueberries, and dried chicory root. The use monomorillonite clay for shape, mixed tocopherols as a preservative, and freeze dry it.
And they have plenty of flavors too like beef, rabbit, pork, fish, etc…
The point is I think you should definitely try this new stuff because it is amazing!
The price for a small bag is about 15 dollars and the price for a large bag is about 30 dollars. .
