I had a swimsuit from target. It was around $20-30 and lasted me 5 years until I lost it. It was pretty, flattering, had padding and was Very well reinforced. This is almost 3 times more than that and it is unusable. What the heck.
The best suit I have gotten was from Giant Tiger. Around 20 bucks. Have worn it for years and it still maintains it's shape. Looks no different than the day I bought it. Can't complain at all about the quality and it looks great on. Very swimmable. This Kylie one seems to be for saying "I have a Kylie swimsuit" and for that purpose only.
I would just like to clarify- I have several shein bikinis- ALL of them are double lined, AND all but one are seamless. Kylie swim should’ve been at least two tiers below it lol

it was definitely for a reason! My swimsuits from Old Navy and Aerie even Walmart are better quality! You sell an $80 piece of junk that will tarnish your reputation as a business owner. I'm someone who really places a lot of importance of comfort over everything else. But sometimes it's really hard to find things that are both comfortable and cute. That being said, I would really like to see a video that goes over your staples in your closet--- your favorites from each category of clothing you have. Favorite swim, leggings, sports bra, etc. to really get a good idea of what really lasts and is most comfortable.
437 hit up a sale. Super comfy and flattering. There are no elastic seams so I’m unsure if I would recommend for extreme water activities and they are all “cheeky” bottoms. Lighter colors are see thru tho
Oftentimes if you ask a no return brand customer service person very nicely, they will grant you a return. I did this once when buying OVO stuff for my brother for Xmas. I was not about to pay $60 for a t-shirt that was more like a child size than the advertised adult XL!
@@hopescope you can definitely still get your money back. I would send in some photos proving that these are not of quality and not as advertised. It's basically false advertisement which is against the law. Sometimes you just have to gently remind these companies of the right thing to do in order for them to help. I really hope you can get your money back because I would definitely be demanding it. This company needs to learn from these issues.
That’s is the craziest notion of “bathing suits” that I have ever seen. And I must admit that I follow the Kardashians and Jenners. But seriously, no lining, the stitching is so-so, and the quality for that price. I don’t understand. I used to work at a clothing store and they would sell “Poolside” swim suits. They looked and felt like swim suits but we’re not suggested to wear in the pool or ocean, so stupid and absolutely crazy but I’m wondering if that was what they were going for.
Do people really buy swimsuits just to sit by the pool or ocean, why would you not want to go in the water especially the ocean. I'm also the furthest from sit around and lay out type person, I have to much energy and get bored sitting still to easily. I need to be in the water and doing things. Genuinley I have heard of "photo only" swimwear where the dye on the fabric runs when wet, or its super thin, or comes off your body super easily in water, and I hate it. Like If you cant wear it in a pool or god forbid the ocean, its not a swimsuit.

This last summer I went to work trying to research, read reviews, and find a great American-made swimsuit brand. Im tired of paying $40 for a suit that unravels, or isn’t lined. I stumbled onto Honeybee and loved their looks! I bought the Black Oahu suit set which Cost $120. Everyone thought I was nuts - heck I was beginning to think I was too. Until it came in the mail. Wow! I was surprised when I got the set. The material is high end, thick, lined, and very obviously leagues above “Target” quality. And there’s the fact that it’s made here - I’m all for helping my fellow American small business owners. I think this is a well-made suit thats going to outlive me. I’m a petite woman but I’ve always had a muscular build and it’s hard to find flattering bathing suits that don’t look ridiculous on me. I was really more than pleased when I got the suit and tried it on. It fit my body type better than expected and it surprised me. So I highly recommend Honeybee! I’d love to see your review on them too!
I always go by "cost per wear" of an item. I have had $20 Target clothes that I wore twice before the seams unraveled, that Is $10 per wear and then I have my favorite dress from April Cornel that I have worn around 50 times and counting that I paid $150, so that is around $3 per wear and less as time goes by, much better. Fast fashion is cheap but the cost per wear is high!
The thing that gets me is that cup sizes are RELATIVE TO BAND SIZES. Nobody talks about it or knows for some reason, so then no one realizes that sizing by cup size like this makes literally no sense 😭😭😭 look up a relative bra size chart if you haven’t seen one

I feel like they released this line so late into the year and after seeing everything wrong with it, I don’t understand why they wouldn’t wait and release this in the late spring after they TEST them and fix all the problems. I’m starting to wonder if this was a idea that they quickly turned into a product and very obviously ruined the integrity of because they rushed it and it’s so cheaply made.
Watching you try on the first swimsuit took me back to this summer when I bought a gorgeous purple strappy swimsuit a lot like it on amazon. I started getting anxiety trying to put it on and had to check the picture a few times before realizing it wasn’t a swimsuit I could lay out in because it’s strappy! 😂 Still loved it on and it was double lined. Cost half the price of Kylie’s stuff. Loved the vid!

Honestly, I was so excited for this. These are adorable designs but maybe she will learn from her mistakes and take some constructive criticism and hopefully make these out of a better and higher quality material. Not to mention that it’s basically see-through 😳 and the sizes don’t go up to a lot so people might not even be able to buy these because they’re not as size inclusive as we expected. And honestly these are really cute designs and I really hope that one day these will actually be functional 😭

I have to buy a large/XL online now with brands like lace made not even cheap knock off brands. I don't get what's going on, and my weight hasn't gone up.

I'm someone who really places a lot of importance of comfort over everything else. But sometimes it's really hard to find things that are both comfortable and cute. That being said, I would really like to see a video that goes over your staples in your closet--- your favorites from each category of clothing you have. Favorite swim, leggings, sports bra, etc. to really get a good idea of what really lasts and is most comfortable.
437 hit up a sale. Super comfy and flattering. There are no elastic seams so I’m unsure if I would recommend for extreme water activities and they are all “cheeky” bottoms. Lighter colors are see thru tho

Oftentimes if you ask a no return brand customer service person very nicely, they will grant you a return. I did this once when buying OVO stuff for my brother for Xmas. I was not about to pay $60 for a t-shirt that was more like a child size than the advertised adult XL!

@@hopescope you can definitely still get your money back. I would send in some photos proving that these are not of quality and not as advertised. It's basically false advertisement which is against the law. Sometimes you just have to gently remind these companies of the right thing to do in order for them to help. I really hope you can get your money back because I would definitely be demanding it. This company needs to learn from these issues.

That’s is the craziest notion of “bathing suits” that I have ever seen. And I must admit that I follow the Kardashians and Jenners. But seriously, no lining, the stitching is so-so, and the quality for that price. I don’t understand. My mom has a bathing suit that she purchased with her first pay check in the 60s back in Europe, and it I still in one piece, and the elastics haven’t cracked and the fabric hasn’t torn…now that’s quality-I mean it’s crazy funny looking, but the quality is WOW. I used to work at a clothing store and they would sell “Poolside” swim suits. They looked and felt like swim suits but we’re not suggested to wear in the pool or ocean, so stupid and absolutely crazy but I’m wondering if that was what they were going for.

Do people really buy swimsuits just to sit by the pool or ocean, why would you not want to go in the water especially the ocean. I'm also the furthest from sit around and lay out type person, I have to much energy and get bored sitting still to easily. I need to be in the water and doing things. I've bought swimsuits that are cute then wear them and regret it because they are sporty enough to stay put or in the case of halter bikini tops not suitable for kayaking because of neck strain.

Genuinley I have heard of "photo only" swimwear where the dye on the fabric runs when wet, or its super thin, or comes off your body super easily in water, and I hate it. Like If you cant wear it in a pool or god forbid the ocean, its not a swimsuit.

This last summer I went to work trying to research, read reviews, and find a great American-made swimsuit brand. Im tired of paying $40 for a suit that unravels, or isn’t lined. I stumbled onto Honeybee and loved their looks! I bought the Black Oahu suit set which Cost $120. Everyone thought I was nuts - heck I was beginning to think I was too. Until it came in the mail.
Wow! I was surprised when I got the set. The material is high end, thick, lined, and very obviously leagues above “Target” quality.
And there’s the fact that it’s made here - I’m all for helping my fellow American small business owners.
I think this is a well-made suit thats going to outlive me. I’m a petite woman but I’ve always had a muscular build and it’s hard to find flattering bathing suits that don’t look ridiculous on me.
I was really more than pleased when I got the suit and tried it on. It fit my body type better than expected and it surprised me.
So I highly recommend Honeybee!

I always go by "cost per wear" of an item. I have had $20 Target clothes that I wore twice before the seams unraveled, that Is $10 per wear and then I have my favorite dress from April Cornel that I have worn around 50 times and counting that I paid $150, so that is around $3 per wear and less as time goes by, much better. Fast fashion is cheap but the cost per wear is high!

The thing that gets me is that cup sizes are RELATIVE TO BAND SIZES. Nobody talks about it or knows for some reason, so then no one realizes that sizing by cup size like this makes literally no sense 😭😭😭 look up a relative bra size chart if you haven’t seen one

I feel like they released this line so late into the year and after seeing everything wrong with it, I don’t understand why they wouldn’t wait and release this in the late spring after they TEST them and fix all the problems. I’m starting to wonder if this was a idea that they quickly turned into a product and very obviously ruined the integrity of because they rushed it and it’s so cheaply made.

Watching you try on the first swimsuit took me back to this summer when I bought a gorgeous purple strappy swimsuit a lot like it on amazon. I started getting anxiety trying to put it on and had to check the picture a few times before realizing it wasn’t a swimsuit I could lay out in because it’s strappy! 😂 Still loved it on and it was double lined. Cost half the price of Kylie’s stuff. Loved the vid!

Honestly, I was so excited for this. These are adorable designs but maybe she will learn from her mistakes and take some constructive criticism and hopefully make these out of a better and higher quality material. Not to mention that it’s basically see-through 😳 and the sizes don’t go up to a lot so people might not even be able to buy these because they’re not as size inclusive as we expected. And honestly these are really cute designs and I really hope that one day these will actually be functional 😭
