That is just so beautiful to watch Jin hugging Molly. No words needed, you can just see the love between them. I envy people who work with these primates. There jobs are so incredibly crucial to the survival of so many species that are dwindling. Congrats to all the zoos that brought these 2 together.

It's so nice to be able to spend half an hour with my favourite people. Here in South Africa we've been having power cuts and we've just returned from a 3-day power cut - my UPS failed after a few hours and my laptop battery followed suit. This meant sitting around with no internet and no heating. Some nights registered about 9C and it was cold! I'll have to invest in a generator next, I imagine. At least we have Monkey World to look forward to.
Sorry to hear about the power cuts, we never really appreciate most things in our life until they are not there anymore. Thank goodness it was no longer than the 3 days. I hope that's it for you and you don't have to deal with it again. We had power outage about 3years ago because of rare snow storm here in south Carolina we also was went for 3days 2 nights we did not have generator at that time either, we do now, that's when I realized just how much I was spoiled by all the things electric makes possible in our home our daily lives. I am big coffee drinker that was the worst part for me is not being able to use coffee maker, lol and by the 2nd day it started getting pretty cold in the house, and with well water the pump wouldn't work without electricity. I feel you and just hope it's over for you guys

Know how you feel. I'm from Southern Arizona. Now live in Bavaria. That white stuff looks nicer in pictures! Might I suggest a hot water bottle with cover. Amazon has a nice selection. You can even get a small one for inside your coat when you go out. The one for the bed. I fill just before dark and put it in the center under the duvet. My cats and Jack Russell have product recognition. We love it.

All the love birds were just precious. The way the two Orangutans were snuggled up like two honeymooners is so good to see. I’m really happy they get to enjoy a true mate!

Jin and Molly, what a sweet story that they have one another. Nice to see the ladies getting along for now and Chloe and Desmond, another remarkable relationship. My copy of "Jeremy and Amy" came yesterday. I am almost done the book. Excellent. Jeremy and I share a lot of similar baggage from our childhood days. It must be the time in which we were born, because I am 2.5 years older than Jeremy.
What is about the Wooly Monkeys (God I LOVE the Males' Tails!) that they get high blood pressure and stressed out so easily? Are they prey in the wild?
I would love more than anything to be able to work there. I would even do it with no pay. But unfortunately with my disability I can not work any where.
May sound like a silly question, but why not just remove the testicles instead of tieing tubes? Isn't there a chance of them growing back together? It has happened to women, this procedure is reversible in men. Veterinarians don't take time to just tie those little tubes in make dogs and cats.
It's not a silly question at all! I believe they keep the testies so the animal continues to have testosterone, but not the ability to reproduce. Why though, I don't know for sure. I hope that helps!
Has anyone from Monkey World seen the RUclips video about YoYo and Yiyi the monkeys a family in Cambodia (I think). Yiyi is a tiny monkey and no mommy. Is there any sanctuary that can take those monkeys away from this family? It’s a very sad video…….using monkeys for $.
