The way I rationalize this is somewhat similar. We have a vertain fatigue budget, we should spend it in the part of the movement that will overall give us the most stimulus
Anecdotal as best but everyone I have seen over my 8 years of training who does lengthened partials has very little development for the time investment.

And if we are talking anatomically, everyone that's done a DB press, RDL, Seated Keg Curl, Standing Calf Raise, Behind the back Curl, etc etc. What you personally see on social media, is filtered through an algorithm which is then filtered through your biases. Just something to think about so you can improve how you use anecdote as much as possible.
